Impossible triangle (AKA Penrose triangle) live MIDI art. I've always been fascinated by this optical illusion, it was a fun challenge to try and recreate it this way. #livemidiart #piano #keyboard

My brother's puzzle game that I've contributed as a sound guy is out now! It is a logic puzzle game. The goal is to make the balls fall onto the same colored platforms by using the magnets to push or pull the blocks. Hope you enjoy it! #puzzle #gamedev #gameaudiodev #sounddesign

Turns out we can reverse engineer chunks of neural network and then write out weights by hand that reimplement it. Not sure what higher standard there is for showing we understand something.
Excited to share a new paper, Curve Circuits We reverse engineer a non-trivial 50k+ parameter learned algorithm from the weights of a neural network and use its core ideas to craft an artificial artificial neural network from scratch that reimplements it distill.pub/2020/circuits/cu…

A GPS satellite has a very accurate clock, and transmits its position and time. The signal expands out at the speed of light. When you receive a signal from one satellite, if you know what time it is *now*, then you know that you're somewhere on a sphere of a given radius 1/5

The thing I hate most about #git is that every question of "How do I ___" is like asking an old person. "Grandpa Git, how do I simply find the size in bytes of a staged commit?" "Well son, that's an interesting story. Now you see, way back in 19-aught-4...."

No matter the language, we exchange information at 39 bits/second, suggesting a biological limit. Languages that are lower information density are spoken fast (Spanish & Japanese) while denser languages are spoken more slowly (Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese). advances.sciencemag.org/cont…
