Cybersecurity startup Cathedral used AI agents to penetrate Anthropic’s sensitive internal systems in under 12 hours, exposing massive security vulnerabilities. Cathedral exploited weaknesses in third-party software, uncovering access paths to internal Slack discussions about advanced AI models, confidential meeting transcripts, and employee salary records. APOLLO'S SPACEX BET: @elonmusk's firm in a regulatory filing this morning disclosed that Apollo will be responsible for buying and leasing GPUs, with roughly a five-year lease term totalling $40 billion. It's another really large affirmation of the AI buildout, even if the industry is facing rotations more largely. It also shows you how much dry powder is still on the sidelines for just a single-issuer deal, with one major credit counterparty (though wouldn't be surprised to see Apollo syndicate the deal). Think this is really just the tip of the iceberg with how much private capital will continue to flow in.

The question then becomes who is the dog and who is the tail, and which strategic advantage will roll down the curve faster- chips or power? I think anyone who understands the leverage of depreciation knows the answer. In other words this is a warning to US policymakers: the long end of the compute curve was never really about contracted chips security. It’s about energized megawatts and that’s basically the one duration the US is shortest vs its biggest geopolitical rival

He downloaded Flock's entire database. 300,000 device locations. 170,000 cameras. 130,000 other hardware units. 27,000 acoustic detectors. Made a map. Published it September 23. The Senate held a hearing on Flock the same day. Cited Michael's research. Flock panicked. Sent a cease-and-desist. Used a brand-protection vendor called Doppel to claim trademark infringement. The map said it wasn't affiliated with Flock. Doppel didn't care. Michael's site went dark. Then Proton moved it to Swiss servers. Now it lives on protonmcp.org. Untouchable. Uncensorable. Hosted by an encryption company in a country that doesn't care what Flock wants. The irony is crystalline. Flock left an access token on the internet. Michael used it to download their own data. Published it. Flock tried to suppress it. Proton said suppressing it is suppressing information. Which is true. The map shows Flock has 150,000 more cameras than they publicly claimed. Shows acoustic detection units mapping human speech across the country. Shows which police departments have access to the whole network. Flock doesn't want that visible. So they tried trademark infringement. Which only worked until Proton decided transparency matters more than Flock's feelings. Now everyone can see exactly how many cameras are watching their car. Where they are. Which cops can see them. Michael warned Flock about the exposed token in November 2025. Flock ignored him. Then got mad when he used it. The surveillance company that claims to protect privacy just tried to suppress the only map showing how much they actually surveille. And failed.

Over this period, the average annual premium for family coverage has surged +$5,884, or +26%. To put this into perspective, CPI inflation has risen +13% over the same period, or half as much. Since 1999, the average health insurance premium for a family has soared +$22,494, or +387%.
