At today’s House Financial Services Committee hearing, I made the case that Ohio borrowers should be able to shop around for the credit option that works best for them, whether that lender is based in Ohio or another state. My American Lending Fairness Act protects that choice while keeping state-chartered banks on a level playing field with the biggest national banks.
