It's been 40 years since that incredible Game Six between the Mets and the Red Sox. Why not re-live that night through the eyes of six ordinary New Yorkers on "The Ramp." thesportscribe.com/the-ramp/

With so much pressure across the sector, just wanted to share my perspective.
@elonmusk called it guppy-level death for unfunded neoclouds.
JPMorgan called it proof of cash flow, not an Al label.
Sandersville was funded first, no equity, no converts. Funded against fully contracted and high IG guaranteed demand. That's the $clsk difference.

$clsk Sandersville is de-risked the infrastructure way: $2.276B of non-dilutive debt, fully funding a 20-year triple-net lease DIRECTLY backed by a high investment grade, leading global technology company.
No equity. No converts.
And on the balance sheet: ~13,500BTC, mined not bought, compounding while we build.
Certainty. Not speculation.
I wrote a fictional account of that night, as six ordinary New Yorkers watched that incredible 10th inning from the ramp that connected the 7 Line station to Shea Stadium. thesportscribe.com/the-ramp/
OTD 40 years ago, the @Mets were on the brink of losing the World Series, trailing the Red Sox by 2 runs with 2 outs and the bases empty in the bottom of the 10th inning
Instead, we saw one of the most dramatic comebacks in baseball history!

That's contracted demand, not modeled demand.

Sign lease, finance project, build data center, repeat in parallel.
1/ How I think about $CLSK capital allocation: Sandersville's equity is fully funded and mgmt has ruled out equity-linked raises for it. Texas (Sealy/Brazoria) is the next ask.
2/ Rough math, my own estimate: ~600 MW at $10-12M/MW with ~90% project debt implies ~$600-700M of sponsor equity. Unencumbered BTC, assuming lines of credit are drawn, is ~$800M at $81K. That's a thin cushion, and it shrinks if BTC falls.
3/ So selling BTC for buybacks competes with the very asset that funds Texas. Raising equity later at ~$10 would cost more than a buyback gains. Sequence matters: lease, financing, then discuss capital returns.
Not financial advice. Just my opinion....

A quick reminder on where CleanSpark stands:
Sandersville is fully funded through completion with the $2.276B we closed Sept 25.
Non-dilutive, fixed-rate
financing. No equity or equity-linked funding needed to build it. We funded first. Now we’re building.

I made an unsettling discovery in my undergraduate class on financial planning last week. While explaining mortgages, I asked my 38 students this question: if you buy a $400,000 house and pay 20% in cash towards the purchase, what will be the amount that you finance?
Not a single student could tell me the answer. Despite the fact that they are all juniors and seniors majoring in business.
I added more questions: what is 30 percent of 80? 60 percent of 90? They didn’t know. The closest they got was when one student said, in response to my query of “40% of 70”, that “I know it’s 4 times 7 but I don’t remember what that is.” Another student helpfully added, “28.”
They explained to me why they couldn’t answer these math questions: they were never taught multiplication tables, percentages or fractions during their K-12 schooling. Instead, they were taught how to use a calculator. Without one, they are not able to do basic arithmetic.
I later asked the dean about this, and he lamented that this isn’t a thing just for our university’s students; it’s a thing for their entire generation, nationwide.
When I was in K-12, the fierce debate among parents and educators was whether to allow calculators in class. The calculators won.
Today, the debate is about AI. And like before, the tech will win. But will that truly be a victory?

Prayers for the Pope.
Dear friends, during some recent medical examinations, the doctors found a small, localized nodule in my lung. It was detected at a very early stage and is well-localized. The doctors believe that it is best to intervene, so, following their advice, I have decided to undergo surgery to remove it. The operation is already scheduled to take place in the coming days. I thank you for your spiritual closeness and entrust myself to your prayers.
After a 108-win regular season, we expected a coronation. Mike Scott had other ideas. cc @Mets @astros offwingopinion.substack.com/…

Today, I spoke on the featured panel at Imagine IF along with Deputy Secretary of Energy James Danly and Matt Schulz of CleanSpark where we discussed the potential of new technologies as we bring more gigawatts of electricity to the nation’s power grid. The ability to fuel next generation technologies will mean trillions annually for our economy, improving our quality of life, and ensuring our national security.
Today, I drop Part I of my series of five linked stories about the 1986 World Series. Today's story is called, "Hand Grenade," and it's set on the September day the @Mets and @RedSox played an exhibition at Fenway: offwingopinion.substack.com/…
