I don’t often get a chance to speak about other topics, but I’m not a one trick pony. Colorado has gone off the rails when it comes to gender ideology and like many other Coloradans, I’m done with the insanity. Protecting our kids is our highest responsibility and Colorado democrats fail every chance they get. This issue like so many other common sense issues, should not be partisan. I’ll be voting Yes on 133, 134 and 135. Protect our kids and protect girls’ sports.

The illegal alien that put Carissa in a wheelchair for the rest of her life has been deported. Deportation is NOT justice for what was done to my daughter. It is the lawful consequence of entering our country illegally. Crashing into Carissa and launching her head first into a concrete barrier at 50 mph was how she got caught, hours later, after the driver initially fled. Valeria Bermudez Marcano has never and likely will never serve any kind of punishment for ending the life Carissa was building for herself. Five charges were dropped down to class 5 felony. Under Colorado’s sanctuary laws, local law enforcement officers face potential disciplinary consequences and civil penalties of up to $50,000 for certain violations involving cooperation with federal immigration enforcement. Even though Valeria is now a convicted felon. Local law enforcement officers would not be able to simply detain her on a civil ICE detainer. Their ability to assist federal immigration enforcement is restricted by state law. Currently, VOICE (Victims of Illegal Crime Engagement) is set up to notify our family should she ever return. But that is only in effect as long as the sitting President maintains VOICE. Biden tried to dismantle it once already. This is the real world application of sanctuary policies where illegal aliens, who repeatedly ignore our laws, are protected over our citizens. Enough is enough. My family is not the only Colorado Angel Family. You can stop this with your vote. Not one more. Vote red. Vote yes on 81.

How it’s going. Carissa has had 8 procedures of varying levels of seriousness, since the illegal alien hit her then left her for dead on the side of Parker Rd in Colorado. I pray she doesn’t need any more. From removing nearly half of her right skull, to later replacing it with a synthetic bone flap, to minor surgeries like a tendon lengthening to counter drop foot and severe spasticity in her legs. Every single one was a procedure that never should have happened, if only our politicians had just prioritized our safety and our laws. Praise God in His infinite mercies, she has beat every prediction early doctors had for her. I continue to pray for complete healing, in Jesus’ mighty name. Carissa has what is called disorders of consciousness, among other diagnoses. She is minimally conscious, nonverbal, wheelchair bound and eats through a g-tube. It’s hard to explain what all that means without seeing her. But physically speaking, heart, lungs, and so forth, she is very healthy. I care for her around the clock. I’m blessed to have a large, supportive family. My parents, my other children, my siblings, nurses that have become a part of our family. They all pitch in and help where they can. But on the day to day, it’s just me. I don’t have time to cry or be sad. When my uncle died earlier this year, I had to get Carissa out of bed. Her needs do not stop because there are things to process or mourn. People say I’m strong, that they don’t know how I do it. But they would if they had to. If Carissa was their daughter. They would find a way to give her everything she needed and more, just like me. People have asked why I didn’t “let her go”. Well, because I’m pro-life. When God chooses to spare a life, that life must be protected. Carissa’s life is beautiful and worthy, even as it is. I hold onto hope for her future while embracing the reality of today. “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” Matthew 25:40 Becoming Carissa’s voice, speaking out against corrupt politicians that have chosen power and money over us, the American people, that’s something far bigger than me. Having the courage to fight for all victims of illegal immigration is something we must come together on. Your vote can stop this from happening to another family. Please, for Carissa’s sake, along with all the other victims that have lost so much, don’t sit this one out. Vote red. Vote yes on 81.

ICE sent mask-wearing agents onto the streets because your party threatened to hurt them if they found out who they were. Illegal aliens have killed Americans in large numbers. Where have you ever spoken out about that? Including an illegal alien who worked at one of your restaurants and killed a Denver Police Officer. Not one family has been “wrongly” detained or deported. If you come here illegally, you face deportation. Stop coddling illegals like you and the left do. Enter legally or don't enter. Those are the choices. Communities are safe from ICE if you are a citizen and/or here lawfully. If you are here illegally, leave now, and you don't have to be scared. Stop pandering to illegal aliens. US citizens come first!

Ballots are hitting mailboxes—don’t forget to VOTE! 🇺🇸 ⚠️ Proposition NN is tricky. A NO vote maintains the current TABOR refund system. Use this cheat sheet as a starting point, but please do your own research. I oppose the proposed tax increases, especially in AURORA. Aurora doesn’t tax groceries, and higher taxes on dining out could further widen the gap between eating at home and eating out—putting even more pressure on our service industry. Judge recommendations coming soon once I can confirm which judges are on the Arapahoe County ballot. Do your research. Read carefully. VOTE! 🇺🇸

Esprit Cherry Creek Apartments. Robeiker Alexander Mejias-Gonzalez, (31) a Venezuelan citizen wanted by Glendale Police for first-degree murder, is in Miami custody awaiting extradition to Colorado. Mejias-Gonzalez is tied to the Aug 31 shooting at Esprit Cherry Creek Apartments that killed a male juvenile. Mexican immigration detained Mejias-Gonzalez Sept 17 and U.S. Marshals arranged his return. In the last few weeks, investigators have continued search warrants and raids at the complex, including a multi-agency operation on Sept 29. What is going on at this complex!? 👀
Investigators are conducting a search warrant at an apartment complex in Glendale Tuesday in connection with a homicide that happened last month. Story in bio.

Did @DenverPolice chief Ron Thomas just admit that we have arrested and released members of TdA multiple times? Great work 🤦‍♀️ “What I can tell you is at last count, there was about eight identified members of TdA, and that is using the state’s criteria," said Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas. "Four of those members have been arrested, two have been arrested on multiple occasions….”

In this caravan there are murderers. There are rapists. There are child traffickers. Drug traffickers. People that will ignore laws regarding safety. Democrats have already said the quiet part out loud. There is no number of American victims that will make them change course. Your children are worth less than their agenda. Trust me, when it’s your catastrophically injured, nonverbal daughter that you have to feed through a feeding tube and care for around the clock, you don’t give a shit about gas prices. Vote like Carissa is your daughter, because she could be.
If Democrats think this is a power move, they are gravely mistaken. It’s just a reminder of what they bring to the table, nothing.

The other day, I put up a post agreeing that seniors should not have to pay property taxes on the homes they worked their entire lives to own. I was met with comments like: “Well, I don’t mind paying property taxes. How else would we pay for roads, police, fire departments, schools, and other essential services?” Fair question. So I decided to do some research. First, I looked at how many different taxes are imposed in Colorado. Then I narrowed it down to how many different taxes, assessments, and government-imposed fees a single Colorado household could potentially pay in ONE YEAR. The lists I posted speak for themselves. And even after compiling them, I repeatedly came across another category: “various other taxes and fees.” Let’s talk about those “fees.” Government may call something a fee instead of a tax, but either way, that money is coming out of YOUR pocket. So when someone asks, “How would we pay for roads, police, fire protection and schools if we eliminated property taxes for seniors?” my response is: 🔥LOOK AT EVERYTHING WE ALREADY PAY.🔥 Colorado families are taxed when they earn money. 💥They are taxed when they buy things. 💥They are taxed when they own property. 💥They are taxed when they buy gasoline. 💥They pay vehicle registration charges, licensing fees, utility-related charges, special-district assessments and numerous other government-imposed costs. And after paying all of that, we’re supposed to believe that reducing ONE tax on seniors who have spent decades paying into the system would somehow make it impossible to provide basic government services? I don’t accept that premise. Colorado’s own Joint Budget Committee reported that lawmakers had to close a budget gap of more than $1 BILLION in the FY 2025–26 budget, and the state faced another significant shortfall going into the following budget cycle. At some point, we have to stop asking taxpayers to give government more and start asking government what it is doing with the money it already receives. Families have to live within their means. Small businesses have to live within their means. Seniors living on fixed incomes absolutely have to live within their means. Government should be expected to do the same. Yes, government should fund essential services. Roads matter. Police and fire protection matter. Schools matter. Those are legitimate priorities. But essential services should be PRIORITIES within the budget—not an automatic justification for continually reaching deeper into taxpayers’ pockets. Before asking Coloradans for another tax, another fee or another increase, government should be able to demonstrate that the money it already collects is being spent responsibly. Coloradans are paying taxes and fees from seemingly every direction. The question shouldn't always be: “What else can we tax?” Maybe it’s time to start asking: “WHAT CAN GOVERNMENT STOP SPENDING MONEY ON?” We don't have a taxation problem. We have a spending-priority problem.

So which is it, Democrats? Are you giving welfare to non citizens…or are you mad that non citizens getting welfare can't become green card holders? Because it seems like either way…you were lying about the whole non-citizens not getting welfare bit.
Breaking News: More than 20 states sued the Trump administration over its policy to restrict immigrants from obtaining green cards if they rely on public benefits. nyti.ms/4yA4rFk

Filed my 83rd lawsuit against the Trump admin. Once again they are trying to make it harder to get green cards if documented immigrants use public benefits that they legally can receive. We’ve sued before during Trump 1 and won, and we will do it again.
