So proud of Southwest High Female Staff who performed at the Spring Pep Assembly!! It's not about being perfect; rather, it is about being vulnerable and letting our students see that we also like to have fun!!! Have an awesome spring break, everyone!! #purosouthwest
Congratulations to these Lady Raiders for being selected into the South Bay Girls Basketball All League Teams!! #purosouthwest
The amazing, fearless, indefatigable women of this district are indescribable in their contributions to the work of educating the students in the South Bay! We are world changers!! Proud to call these women my colleagues and friends!! You go girls!! #girlpower
HTM's first-ever Safety Fair was amazing. Thank you to all our community partners for participating. Thank you, teachers, for your willingness to learn together with your students. Falcons, thank you for taking the topic of safety seriously.
Honoring the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the All People's Celebration hosted by Alliance San Diego. Glad to commemorate this time.
A great night of student empowerment. SUHSD first Black Talk Symposium was a rousing success. Students, parents, and staff shared their experiences of learning as people of color. This is the first of many opportunities to create changes by embracing our diversity.

It was an amazing faculty meeting PD today. We learned how to use the RP Circle as a tool for building community in our classrooms. Great Job RP Teachers Josh Horton and Lilly Esparza for all the work you put in to make this happen. This is when I feel like a principal.😊
Ended Quarter 1 with a district-wide Spirit Day. The theme was Stronger Together and we got to wear our favorite sports gear!! Our middle school principals participated also. Go @SUHSD Middle School Principals!! @BVM_Principal @ELMPrincipal1 @PattersonSUHSD @CPMHermosillo

🏫#SUHSD is dedicated to ensuring the safety of our students and staff! 🚸 This past week, all school sites came together for our Tenth Annual safety training, a proud tradition coordinated with local and federal law enforcement. A secure learning environment is our top priority!
Held my first New Teachers PLC today. 9 Teachers with 0-2 years experience who need the essential support in order to succeed. Started with an RP Circle about what went well as they began at HTM, followed by what did not go well. Give them a reason to stay.
At Combined @SUHSD Principals' PLC. It is always a great time when the middle school and high school principals learn together. Especially when Lee Romero stands in our SWMSP picture. He is repping principal, @ELMPrincipal1 @MVAMsScott @CPMHermosillo & Liz Wong
