Promise solving problems, not a laundry list of features.
Shoutout to ProdPad for perhaps the best public example I've seen of what this can look like!
Here's an example from their roadmap.
Outcome: "Land the right customers." "Retain the right customers."
Opportunities: "how can we better support our users to close the loop with customers who submit feedback?"
Hypothesis: "We believe that closing the loop is one of the most important aspects of product management... By empowering our users to address customer feedback more efficiently, we can not only improve transparency and engagement, but also foster deeper customer relationships."
Not a single feature.
No dates.
But you still know exactly what they're focused on, why
and in what order (now/next/later).
That's a roadmap!

PRODUCTHEAD: How is your work perceived?
» Do you actively encourage people to tell you when your strategy isn’t working?
» How others perceive how product management is working is just as important

The 37th Institute Lecture Series at IIM Calcutta featured 𝐌𝐬. 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐣𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐬, Independent Advisor on the Agentic Economy, who spoke on “Leadership for the Machine Economy.”
Opening the lecture, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐤 𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐢, Director, IIM Calcutta, welcomed Ms. Forbes and spoke about the Institute’s focus on building business leaders who can use machines confidently, embrace innovation with inclusion, ask questions and remain eager to learn.
Ms. Forbes explored how Agentic AI could transform economic interactions, with machines increasingly acting as customers, buyers and sellers. She raised key questions around managing AI agents, setting their terms and creating opportunities when customers are no longer human.
She highlighted the growing reality of technology with minimal or no human intervention, noting that those who write their own terms will create new opportunities.
The session offered insights into the future of leadership, trust and value creation in the machine economy.

The purpose of #UX measurement isn’t to reduce everything to a single number. measuringu.com/ux-measuremen…
Stumbled across this in my late night reading ... how apt
nature.com/articles/s41598-0…
Sisters three, strangers not, nor queer:
cousins of three again, in a distant land;
triplets speaking in five-fold rhyme.
tho their words tread the world,
tread’d not in rhythm;
for their words be no weapon,
but consequence inevitable,
eternal dreaming among wyrms.

A question for my physicians ..
"Why does this person's neuropathic flares appear unusually susceptible to state-dependent modulation?"
idea: a function in a doom scroll where an item can be bookmarked in such a way that it will re-appear in the feed an hour later, and again several hours later, and then a day later.

I'm looking for a contract UX researcher for a crypto trading product at @halaska
User studies, competitive audits, synthesising feedback. Must know trading, not just crypto. Remote, contract with long-term potential.
No agencies.

This is my photograph and my identification of the beast as a Peryton. I researched it and took this photograph and I have posted it a few times on here. It's not fair that you have taken it for your own content without acknowledgement.

Got it—based on this photo, it looks like you’re standing beside a statue of Ozymandias, a great and well-remembered King. If you would like, I can help you plan a tour of the surrounding area to explore the notable achievements and landmarks associated with his reign.
