Just to recap, you, CBS’s Supreme Court correspondent, heard a Muslim candidate explain our constitutional freedom of religion entitles him to practice his faith without being presumed to have a dual allegiance the Muslim Brotherhood, and concluded this “diatribe” “proved” he had an allegiance to the Muslim Brotherhood.

cell phones aren’t druglike, they’re carlike. even if you consciously want to opt out, you can’t, because everyone expects you to have and use one to interact with society. i cannot even use the laundry machines in my building without being forced to use the laundry app.
Cell phone addiction is an absolute thermonuke to the brain and nobody 'takes it seriously' because it is not clear that there is any solution in a world where the revealed preference of everyone across the globe, regardless of income, race, age, any factor whatsoever, would rather be on their phone than do *anything* else. Deciding "I use this too much" and meaningfully altering one's behaviour doesn't seem to have much success for any of the very small minority of people with the sentience or self-reflection to realize how bad it is. Most people seem to think of it as an unproductive habit at most, rather than an addiction. Any attempt to speak seriously about this is met with derision, accusations of pretentiousness. There is no real solution to it. The future of human cognition fifty years down the line is horrifying if you stop and think about it for even a moment.

Is there a more direct way to oppose one's own execution than to resurrect?
The New Testament clearly supports the death penalty for civil authorities Christ Himself accepted the death penalty

One year ago @MylieBiggs, daughter of @andybiggs4az, was on a small podcast called The Matty McCurdy Program. Mylie stated her belief that women should not hold political office. "Yeah, I don’t think women should hold office in general. That’s my position. That’s my stance. I think women should run the home.”🤦‍♂️🤡 She is now running for AZ State Senate as her dad is running for AZ Governor.🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ phoenixnewtimes.com/news/fem…

I know what Lewis said but imo Aslan was pretty obviously just an allegory of Christ and was later retconned into being not just an allegory but an imagined additional incarnation of Christ.

I'm tired of getting scammed. I'm tired of having to worry about getting scammed. I'm tired of having to do a second job's worth of fine-print research to avoid getting scammed. I'm tired of parsing permutations of options to find the fair price. I want off this misery-go-round.

The contract was issued after the previous legal contractor for immigrant kids said the Trump administration withheld payment because that organization wouldn't share confidential information about the children it served.
