#PitchYaGame I'm working on Crownfront, a medieval strategy game. If this looks cool, hit that like and reshare button! PS. I'm looking for a publisher. #indiegames

Making a game is art. It’s like an extension of you. I really think it’s one of the most vulnerable things a person can do. You tear off a piece of yourself, hold it up to the world and say, “Here’s what I love, and I hope you love it too”. Takes balls. Keep it up, indies! ❤️

I am planning a closed pre-alpha test for my Clickwork point and click game engine. If you are interested in joining, reply here and feel free to spread the world. I am looking for testers with some experience in the space. #adventuregame #indiegamedev
Custom pixel-art-pont-and-click-engine prototype. Testing an idea I had for projection based 3D modeling tool to make real 3D environments that remain pixel perfect and in still images look like drawings. All of the artwork created in engine #adventuregame

NoGraphicsAPI is released (MIT license)! It's a low-level Vulkan 1.4 wrapper using latest extensions (BDA, descriptor heap, device address commands, unified image layouts) to get as close as possibly to my No Graphics API blog post and SIGGRAPH 26 talk. github.com/sebbbi/NoGraphics…

Replying to @UhGoomba
long write up, hope it helps: one thing you learn as you get older is that judgment and responsibility are extremely valuable in the marketplatce. in short it's the difference between "being able to build something" and "being able to figure out what is the right thing to build in the first place", and being accountable for it. the reason LLMs can't ultimately replace humans is that they have no reliable judgment and can't be held accountable. if you go to an AI agent and say "build me a renderer", it will produce *something*. Being able to tell whether it's the right thing (and even specifying what the right thing is in the first place), requires domain knowledge. For software, these are the fundamentals of how computers work (OS, memory, CPU, GPU, networks, etc), as well as a lof of expertise in managinc complexity. so if I were 20 again and was just starting my career, I would still learn to program by hand, and focus a lot of effort in learning the hard fundamentals of my field, by building hard projects (an OS, a compiler, a renderer, a physics engine, whatever interests you). I would use AI as a teacher instead of a tool to do things for me. hope it helps!

Work is progressing on #monkeyisland for the #c64. We have created the sequencer for playing the animations so I could start pixel work on this part. First test is Importan Looking Pirates. Slowly getting there. #retro #pixelart #games #commodore64
