here's my AI cybersecurity apocalypse white pill.
I've been fixing bugs in leftover human code non-stop for over a year now. literally cleaning up years of human slop.
at the same time, i've been building fully AI-written complex software which I regularly review with AI the same way that I'm reviewing the human code.
the difference is like day and night. good models don't just find the bugs, they also produce far fewer bugs.
the difference between a big project written exclusively by modern frontier models and one written by a dozen engineers is just incredible.
all those little obscure mistakes that humans overlook are mostly absent. if you take care of your project, the code quality can be great and there's almost no accumulation of weird edge cases that sneak in inevitably over the course of multiple years of working on a code base with a team of humans.
makes me very optimistic about the future.

I still have a soft spot for EGA. It has a certain warmth and quality that really resonates with me.

I've been doing some side quests these days, and I got my hand (or my wrist) on a Garmin watch.
I couldn't find any minimalist watch face showing exactly what I need so I did a little bit of design and asked Claude to implement it.

Mao Zedong is under any single social metric a dictator. Not a single popular election, single government party and lifetime leadership. Not even taking into account the millions of deaths under his reign.

The Last Ninja (1987) is generally considered the best-selling C64 game of all time.
🥷 Over 750,000 copies of the C64 version sold in Europe alone.
🥷 Multi-format sales exceeded 2 million units worldwide.
🥷 System 3's Mark Cale has claimed around 4 million copies sold in total.
It's not the most complex game in history, but possible one with the biggest "wow" factor when first playing it.
Marveling at the incredibly beautiful pixel art graphics, listening one of the best soundtracks ever (Ben Daglish, Anthony Lees), the game was hitting perfectly on that 80s Karate and Kung-Fu vibe, which probably captured every teenage boy's mind at the time.
Closing in on 40 years and The Last Ninja still gives me nerd chills more than any other C64 game.

I found a SIM implant in my friend's @Ledger Flex. He set it up but never used it, so no funds were lost.
He bought it from @cryptobilis at their May 22 2026 Global Pizza Party, Raintree Club Kuala Lumpur.

Can anyone who bought Ledgers from @cryptobilis confirm (either by replying here or DMing) that their wallets got drained, disassembled their devices and found a SIM implant in it?
It seems like the only victims affected are those who bought from shady Lazada merchants, not CB
