Most bootstrapped founders who try to run ads for the first time have no idea how to write something that stops the scroll.
That’s why they end up making no sales and burning money.
But there’s a simple way to fix that.
Let’s say you sell a supplement for people with insomnia.
Instead of trying to be clever you could just say:
We know how bad it sucks when you can’t sleep.
You end up feeling tired most of the day.
(Product) will make you sleep better and feel energized again.
It’s very effective.
In fact it’s my favorite copywriting formula:
You present your customer’s problem.
You agitate it to make it hurt.
You introduce your solution.
This works well not only for ads but for content too.
