What makes you think a custom chip will be any superior to a "generic" chip?
"custom" PS5 CPU is Zen2 with neutered AVX units and ¼ L3 cache size, which actually makes it worse than "generic" Zen2.
"custom" PS5 GPU cuts INT8 vs "generic" RDNA2.
All PS customs are nerfs.
While RTX Spark has better gaming support than Snapdragon X series, it is still unviable for high refresh rate/competitive gaming.
While the GPU is capable, HRR gaming places load on the CPU. Arm based chips are NOT gonna be anywhere near this list anytime soon.

"The argument keeps setting the bar at “Arm must be best at every Windows workload,” when nobody is claiming that."
Nobody claims as such but not a lot of people have the luxury to own multiple devices.
So obviously they're gonna choose the best fit and this ain't it.

While a lot of CAD software may work with emulation, the reliability is questionable, even if we ignore the performance hit. You can't expect any support from the vendors, should you run into any issues.

You're grossly underestimating the number of dumbos who'd pay for not one but two subscriptions—each for a device.

The devil is in the details.
While the device may be IP68 rated, this revelation makes the rating meaningless.
Corporate loopholes and consumer loses.
However I'd say this whole foldable business is jumping the bandwagon and has very less real world relevance.

Afaik, a device is IP rated as a whole; not as specific components.
I'm afraid that you picked up the above statement from some random Apple apologist.

I don't think Claude code would give me Arm native version of Forza Horizon 5.

You expect Apple to come down and tell "it's 12 GB but only 8 is usable because fuck you"?

If something can't prevent macroscopic sand from entering, how will it prevent microscopic dust?
Explain like I'm 5 years old.
