🚨The Kremlin wants more than 50% for United Russia. Independent polling puts it at 35.6%.
Days before voting opens in Russia’s 2026 State Duma elections, Kremlin-aligned forecasts put United Russia at 47–53% of the party-list vote.
Independent polling tells a very different story. @ExtremeScan finds the ruling party at just 35.6% among decided voters – and 23.9% among all voters.
The gap is now 12–17 percentage points even among voters who have made up their minds.
And the Kremlin has responded by raising, not lowering, its target: United Russia is now expected to deliver more than 50% nationwide.

🚨The Kremlin needs the 2026 Duma elections to project “cohesion and unity” as a basis for further escalation of the war. But falling ratings and sustained public demand for peace mean that producing this image increasingly requires coercion, falsification and the exclusion of anti-war candidates.

I found something striking. The recent wave of coverage in Western media about mobilization plans in Russia is, in all likelihood, a Kremlin campaign. These are not simply insider leaks but a controlled seeding of narratives that Moscow needs to push to a Western audience

And here is the problem. No one is going to accept the Kremlin's maximalist demands, which means that mobilization, one of Moscow's last remaining arguments, is not merely possible but highly likely. And a great many indications suggest that preparations are already under way

6/6 The objective is broader than Ceuta: use a real crisis to depict Spain and Europe as weak, externally controlled, and incapable of protecting their citizens.

"A direct clash between NATO and Russia could quickly escalate into an exchange of nuclear strikes." Nuclear rhetoric has become increasingly prominent in the Kremlin's messaging.
Our latest analysis examines how officials, propagandists, and pro-war influencers are constructing the narrative of an inevitable confrontation with Europe, and why that narrative increasingly clashes with Russian public opinion:
