On December 8th, the Sameer Project distributed parcels to: 202 to We’am Camp in Nuseirat, 38 to Amal Orphanage in Khan Younis and 4 parcels to tents on the street in Zawayde. The 244 parcels with 9% commission was $5,365.
Each bag had 2 kilos of spinach, 1.5 kilos of tomatoes, 200 grams of garlic, 1.5 kilos of oranges, 2 kilos of potatoes, 2 kilos of onions, 1 kilo of lemon, 200 grams of pepper, 1.5 kilos of eggplants and 1 kilo of cucumber. Most Palestinians in Gaza can’t afford to purchase food as only 25% of the aid is entering Gaza, so a package like this one is extremely valuable.
