If your partner is neurodivergent and she spends her whole day off on the couch, then cries at 9pm about wasting it, learn the words ADHD paralysis.
She had 12 things she wanted to do. Her brain couldn't pick the first one, so it picked none. You think she's lazy.
Don't ask "What do you want to get done today?" At 10am, hold out her shoes. "We're walking to get coffee." Once she's moving, she'll pick the next thing herself. All she ever needed was someone to take the first step with her.

People are aware when someone is ahead of their time. Because they remember mocking you for something that’s finally accepted as a universal truth. And yet, you would think that by now they would recognize the pattern before they try to shame your courage, only to watch it become widely accepted months later and pretend nothing happened.
