An Illinois mom was home alone with her infant late at night when paroled burglar Shelby Hurd forced entry into her Joliet home. She hid the baby in a bedroom closet, armed herself with a handgun, and shot him in the head as he entered the room. Police found Hurd wearing gloves and carrying a screwdriver. He had a history of burglary convictions and had only been released on parole months earlier. Nice aim. The woman, who remains anonymous, cooperated with investigators and faces no charges. Police treated it as a justified self-defense shooting. This is a prime example why we don’t give up our guns.

Folks, stop letting every damn rumor convince you voting is pointless. You’re doing the fearmongers’ work for them. Stay vigilant. Know your rights. Learn how the process works, and demand answers when there’s actual evidence of wrongdoing. But quit treating every post on your timeline like proof. Vote early if you can. Bring a friend. Make turnout overwhelming. Being loud online doesn’t put a single vote on the board. Showing up does. Quit feeding the hysteria. F*cking VOTE. 🇺🇸

My buddy Buzz. He found out he has cancer of the liver a couple days ago. Prayers greatly appreciated. He served our country in the Marines.

You never really know who you’re standing next to. The quiet guy at the hardware store. The old man having coffee by himself. The grandfather sitting three rows ahead of you at church. Some of them have lived through things most people will never experience. They’ve been scared and kept moving. They’ve carried friends when those friends couldn’t walk. They’ve made decisions that stayed with them for the rest of their lives. And then they came home and were spat on. Went to work. Raised families. Lived ordinary lives. No introduction. No explanation. No need for applause. You’d walk right past them and never know. Here’s to the veterans whose stories most of the world will never hear. Most people just see an old guy moving slow with a cane. They don't see the jungle. The quietest men in the room are often the ones who’ve seen and done the most. If someone comes to mind, this one’s for them.

I believe what’s coming to Iran is about to show the entire world exactly what FAFO means. The Iranian regime may be about to learn a very hard lesson, and the world is about to get a reminder of just how mighty the United States military really is. American military power isn’t just about weapons and technology. It’s about the warriors behind them, their training, their courage, and their willingness to accomplish the mission. Never underestimate the American warfighter. God bless our troops. God bless America.

God bless you, @RooksRoofing !!!❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Army veteran Deborah Scott served her country in Desert Storm. Her roof in Atlanta lasted 26 years, and then it started leaking into her laundry room. Today a crew from Rooks Roofing climbed up and gave her a brand new roof, and tore out a crumbling chimney while they were at it. A job like that runs close to $30,000. "She's not paying a dime out of pocket." Deborah said it takes a lot of stress off. That's how you thank a veteran. Not with words. With a roof. atlantanewsfirst.com/2026/10…

I have a message for the entire world. America isn’t perfect, but she’s worth defending. We’re loud, stubborn, and disagree on almost everything. But our love for freedom is stronger than our differences. I’ve seen war. I’ve seen sacrifice. I’ve watched good men give everything for the flag they loved. So I’ll never apologize for being a proud American. Republican or Democrat, rich or poor, if you love this country, you’re my kind of people. And to anyone who thinks the American spirit is dead… The eagle isn’t dead. She’s just waking up. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” Psalm 33:12 God bless the United States of America. Land of the free because of the brave.

On the morning of October 23, 1983, a suicide bombing carried out by Iran-backed Hezbollah destroyed the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut, killing 299 people. The casualties included 241 U.S. Marines and Sailors, representing the Marine Corps' highest single-day loss of life since the Battle of Iwo Jima. WE NEVER FORGET! 🇺🇸

October 23, 1983. A date forever etched in the hearts of United States Marines. Forty-three years ago, a terrorist drove a truck loaded with explosives into the Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, killing 241 American service members, including 220 Marines, 18 sailors, and 3 soldiers. They were sons, brothers, husbands, fathers, and friends. Young Americans who had answered their country’s call, never knowing they would never see home again. For those of us who have worn the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, Beirut is not just another tragic event in American history. Those were our brothers. We may never have met them, but we share a bond that neither time nor death can break. Forty-three years have passed. Families have grown older, children have grown up without their fathers, and parents have gone to their graves still mourning their sons. But I promise you one thing. The United States Marine Corps has not forgotten them, and we never will. Rest peacefully, brothers. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten. Semper Fidelis. Always Faithful.
