While I expect the polling numbers to "revert to the mean" from what we're seeing now, I don't see a situation where the Canadians the conservative party needs will ever take @PierrePoilievre seriously as a prime ministerial candidate.
His unpopularity is established.

Huh. Not someone whom I would have expected to be the subject of a play.
Should have been titled:

25 September 1944. British 1st Airborne Division withdraw from Arnhem in the Netherlands. The Germans took many prisoners. It meant the Allies had failed to cross the Rhine. The river remained a barrier to their advance into Germany until March 1945.

Iโve seen enough. Itโs time to acknowledge the Carney government has been good for the oil & gas sector. Weโre starting to move from MOUs to FIDs

The edge of darkness on Mars. Austerely beautiful.
Taken from orbit near the south pole, you can see cliff faces, many meteorite crater scars, and lots of ice.

In 1906, 27-year-old Canadian Peter Lymburger Robertson invented a new screw and screwdriver.
Considered far superior to the Philips screw, the Robertson screw is now regarded as one of Canada's greatest inventions.
This is the story.

The Canadian Mint honours a century of service.
Introducing the 2026 commemorative $2 circulation coin. The coin honours a century of the Legionโs unwavering support for Veterans and its vital role in connecting generations through Remembrance, service, and community.
The artist behind Canadaโs newest commemorative circulation coin design has a special connection to its theme. In 2023, Vladyslava Pashchenko won the Legion National Foundation Senior Colour Poster Contest, part of the Legionโs annual National Youth Remembrance Contests; today her artwork appears on the $2 coin honouring the Legionโs centennial.
โRemembrance is not only about learning history, it is about honouring the real people who put the safety and well-being of others before themselves. I believe remembering their courage and sacrifice helps younger generations develop empathy, gratitude, and a deeper appreciation for the peace and freedom we have today.โ - Vladyslava Pashchenko

โI hope this coin helps people recognize The Royal Canadian Legionโs purpose and the incredible work it has done over the past 100 years,โ says Pashchenko. โI would love for this coin to encourage Canadians to reflect on that legacy and appreciate the important work the Legion continues to do today.โ
