Don’t think it’s a strict minute limit more so monitoring his minutes. 30 minutes should be the floor as long as the game is competitive and think there’s some room for closer to 35 if it is.

The Three Reasons Why I’m Betting on Stephen Curry’s Assists 👨‍🍳 1. Curry’s assists numbers have taken a massive hit this season through his first two games only averaging 2.5 assist per game, but context matters here! In his first game, the Lakers beat the Warriors by 1000, with Curry only playing 21 minutes as a result. In their second game, Curry had just 4 assists but on 10 potential assists, which is more in line with the kind of potential assist volume we can expect from Curry. 2. The Nuggets have been running a super trap heavy scheme on guards, as evident by snapping SGAs 20 point streak. In the Nuggets last game vs the Pelicans, Dejounte Murray, Jordan Poole, and Trey Murphy combined for 29 potential assists, with 10,9 and 9 respectively (the game did go into OT so the number is probably a few less between the three but still super strong). 3. Good game environment with a 234.5 total. The Warriors have a possible 0-4 start looming and I expect a pretty desperate Warriors team and some strong minutes for Curry as a result. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the Nuggets end up as one of the top assist funnels in the NBA this season and think there’s a super strong chance for double digit PAs (potential assists), for Curry as a result.
