Interesting thing. Most of the feel good posts you see are all about kindness. Nothing huge, nothing dramatic. Just small kindnesses. Kindness and honesty are the two most important virtues.
Nobody asked him to. Nobody was watching. He just saw something needed doing and did it. The world runs on moments exactly this small.

While much of the world watches the Israeli election results, counts seats, follows political alliances, and wonders what comes next, life in Gaza tells a very different story. This little girl arrived at Al-Rahma Clinic with painful burns on parts of her tiny body. She knows nothing of elections, political alliances, or politicians’ speeches. All she knows is that she is in pain. The world has moved from war to ceasefire, from ceasefire to elections, and from one headline to the next. But Gaza’s suffering has not followed the news cycle. The bombs may be falling less frequently, and politicians may now be busy counting votes. But children are still living among the ruins, bearing wounds, mourning loved ones, and enduring the consequences of a war that has taken almost everything from them. And as the world slowly grows accustomed to their suffering, there is something I fear almost as much as the suffering itself: that one day, we will look at a photograph like this and feel nothing. Look at this little girl. This is what a “ceasefire” looks like for her. The world may have moved on from Gaza. But Gaza’s children have not been given the chance to move on from what the world allowed to happen to them. #AlrahmaClinic

One of the biggest indictments of Israeli’s is the fact that so many of them have voted for Netanyahu despite the atrocities he has committed.

ISRAEL PROVES AGAIN IT IS AN APARTHEID STATE Despite holding 19 seats, the Arab parties will be excluded from any possibility of joining the government. Both Jewish parties have agreed not to include them in any governing coalition, rendering their votes meaningless.

Being delusional only helps for a while. If it's such a great place for Arabs, let all the expelled Palestinians return. Once they are back, they will form the majority.

Exactly this. A lot of them are right behind him and that bears out the various polls of Israeli citizens’ opinions on genocide. More solid evidence that Israel is a deeply diseased society and that Zionism is a dangerous, evil philosophy.

You, Mary Kenny, go and explain what democracy is to all the maimed, murdered, tortured, homeless, Palestinian children, women and men. Collective punishment of the innocent by that psychopathic state of Israel. What a horrible heartless person you are.
The most amazing aspect of the Israeli elections is the fully participating Arab electorate. Please tell Sally Rooney that Israel is a democracy!

Just a casual reminder that Germans who “didn’t bother to vote” in 1932 didn’t get a chance again until 1946, after Hitler’s death. — There’s a lesson there.

The problem is not the two million Arabs in Israel, it s the 5.5 million Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza whose lives are controlled by Israel, even though the West Bank has a spineless government. Now many Israeli leaders are demanding Israeli Arabs be disenfranchised!

Let me tell you something I'm sick of, Matt: Your misleading half-truths. Yes, two million Arabs get to vote in Israel's elections... Meanwhile, another five million Arabs get to watch the election from the sidelines, while Israel's so-called Defence Force watches over them.

The genocide started a long time ago.

A message to those who still believe that it all started on October 7. No, it didn't. A 'managed genocide', to keep 1.5 million Palestinians "on the edge of life" was in force years before. Read the latest report by Eyal Weizman: "A military document called ‘Red Lines’ set the minimum number of calories required to sustain Gaza’s population at a level just above the UN definition of hunger (2100 calories a day for men, 1700 for women and a varying amount for children depending on gender and age). The total number of calories was translated into the tonnage required to feed Gaza’s then population of 1.5 million and thus the number of aid trucks allowed into the territory. The same went for megawatts of electricity and litres of fuel and water. What was seen as good behaviour was rewarded by an increase in the amounts coming in, any acts of resistance by the tightening of the siege, like a population-scale version of a Milgram experiment." lrb.co.uk/the-paper/v48/n20/…

It can't be because Israel is ashamed of what they are doing in the West Bank, it's obvious they don't do shame. So they must know they have something to hide that would cause them trouble if MPs saw what they were doing and would have an audience for their findings Clive Lewis, MP for Norwich South, and Lara Bird, MP for Arbroath and Broughty Ferry, and three other European elected representatives, were refused entry to West Bank via Jordan on Monday evening. The group said they were due to meet Palestinian students and civil society leaders and accompany Palestinian farmers facing escalating Israeli settler violence during the olive harvest lbc.co.uk/article/mp-clive-l…

Halloween has become a plastic nightmare hellscape. Bargain shops are choc full of endless plastic tat, used once and thrown away. Houses get adorned with junk, for what. To impress the neighbours. Wish it could all be banned, except the real stuff eg actual pumpkins.

Halloween artificial cobweb material: It may be a bit of fake fun for you, but it's a very real and terrifying death for them. And it's not only birds. Last year I had my first call of the season of a hedgehog trapped in this horrific fake 'cobweb', made especially for gullible halloweeners to spread over their greenery, trapping all unsuspecting birds, insects and mammals, including hedgehogs. The fine synthetic fibers are difficult for animals to see and can quickly wrap around their legs, spines, and neck, leading to severe injuries. When a hedgehog struggles to free herself the web tightens, cutting off circulation and causing deep wounds. These constriction injuries often lead to permanent damage or death. Unfortunately the call was from Manchester, so all I could do was talk them through getting the poor creature to a rescue. Clearly she had been trapped there for at least one night, and her struggles had pulled the strong nylon strands so tightly that one of her toes had been amputated. Can you imagine the pain and the sheer terror? And then seeing dawn approach, while hanging there, tightly bound and helpless. Aside from being stressed, dehydrated, starving and exhausted to the point of near death, she also had horrific bite/peck wounds to her face, where she had been held there, helpless, unable to curl and defend herself, while a predator tried to eat her alive. If you have used this deadly cruel trap to 'decorate' your garden, please take it down now. Please don't be conned by the greedy makers and sellers of this rubbish into hurting defenceless animals.

I'm curious to know: Why do you think Israel still hasn't allowed any foreign journalists to enter Gaza and report freely, and do you think there may be some connection to the ongoing ICJ case?

Never again was meant to apply to everyone. Palestinians are humans too and your denial of that is an insult to all the victims of the Nazis.

Buried on page 30 of 'Sir' David Bellend's report into antisemitism in schools in the UK it explicitly says there hasn't been a rise in antisemitism, only in anti-Israel sentiment. Astonishingly fraudulent crisis/debate, all to shield a genocidal state
