Over the last 2 years @10DowningStreet and @DefraGovUK have failed to stop the destructive fishing frenzy in UK waters.
The new Prime Minister & Environment Secretary must do more to protect ocean ecosystems and the coastal communities who rely on them! #SaveOurSeas
I believe #neonicotinoids have no place in a #wilderfuture, so I've joined @wildlifetrusts in calling on the Prime Minister to overturn this terrible decision. @JNHanvey, will you support me and back it too? wtru.st/no-more-neonics

Important new report.
While everyone became fixated on tree *planting*, we lost sight of the vast potential for *natural regeneration* of forests.
Establishing woodlands this way can be cheaper, faster, wilder, richer.
And it needs no plastic guards or glyphosate.
Tree planting has become a go-to option but natural regeneration has a key role to play in reforesting Britain.
🌳 Natural regen will happen on a large scale if we allow it
🦋 Natural regen brings additional biodiversity & climate benefits

This is just completely inhumane policy. Im glad you break the rules. I would too.

"Let’s do this another way. Let's stop thinking our voice don’t matter and vote. Not just for the president...educate yourself and know who you’re voting for. And that’s how we're going to hit 'em."

Go inside the cave
of your own heart.
When you can bear and
be your own emptiness,
you are free.
My lesson right now 🙏
In order to really grow inside,
you must first be challenged
from all directions.
Things cannot just go your way.
You cannot command life or
expect it to fulfil your projections.
If things were always easy,
you would go to sleep inside your being...

Because climate change is a real thing and not a matter of opinion, it will increasingly be the case that people who invest real money based on real risk assessments will force the issue. Stubborn Politicians and opinionated columnists will be marginalised, and not before time.
This is an extraordinary letter (and extraordinarily well-written).
This is @blackrock Chairman and CEO Larry Fink on how climate change is driving "a profound reassessment of risk and asset values".

Izzy is threatened by the police while her home, Australia, burns. She is on the frontlines of the climate and ecological crisis.
Izzy was moved on by a mob of riot police at @StrikeClimate’s camp out outside Prime Minister Scott Morrison's Kirribilli House. Sydney is choking, NSW is burning, & our PM is nowhere to be found.

We’re going after the tax dodgers.
We’re going after the dodgy landlords.
We’re going after the bad bosses.
And we’re going after the big polluters.
Because we know whose side we’re on.
The big question is, one month today on Thursday 12th December, whose side are you on?

Scientists say they have a moral obligation to warn of the scale of the #ClimateEmergency
Govts have a moral obligation too – to act
Yet @BorisJohnson won’t even agree to an election debate on climate
I wonder why …
