What is Money?
It's something we use everyday, you'd assume that whatever the answer is would come naturally
Yet, once you ask the next question, "What gives money value?"
The world gets slightly more complicated and down the rabbit hole we go
We're giving back to the open source community which made building @tryordinal possible
the @tryordinal started sponsoring me on github!
highly appreciate you guys 🖤
Anyone else having weird transactions with @mercury cards the last few days?
3 different virtual cards numbers I used at different merchants got used at random places. All were blocked but I have a hard time believing this is a coincidence
All of our competitors are operating in terms of weeks or days that all we have to do is help out our customers quickly
Speed is everything and the bar is lowwwww
Doing whatever we can to have happy customers!
Funny enough Sully was the first user I met in person when I randomly sat next to him at a coffee shop in Austin and watched him use Assembly
The @meetassembly team is one of my favorite teams
I've been using the tool to manage clients' social media for more than a year now.
They reply to all my product suggestions and fix bugs so damn fast
Absolutely wicked from a bootstrapped team

If you're building a SaaS, offering analytics to your users is a great way to increase the ARPU of your product.
Customers are almost always willing to pay a premium for accurate, real-time analytics that drives business value – we've seen that firsthand at @dubdotco.
Excited to see companies like @meetassembly leverage Dub's link attribution platform to offer real-time analytics to their users, with granular information like:
◆ Channels (LinkedIn vs Twitter vs Facebook)
◆ Country / Region
◆ Device type
Bonus: In the future, you'll be able to connect your Assembly + Dub accounts to use your own domain for your short links 🤩

Assembly now offers you powerful link tracking and analytics
As you're drafting a post, you can instantly generate a short link that'll allow you to gain deep insights into:
• What channel clicks are coming from (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
• Mobile vs Desktop traffic breakdown
• Where your audience is located
Instead of guessing which posts drive traffic, you’ll now have real analytics to guide your strategy and make data driven content decisions. All of this powered by @dubdotco

Right now, all links use asmbly.link, but if you want even more flexibility and ownership over your brand shoot us a message to try out using your own domain.
We’re excited to see how this changes the way you track and optimize content. Try it out and let us know what you think!
I was kinda surprised when I sent in my first support request to the @dubdotco team
I was just playing around with their API to see what was possible late one Wednesday night
A few minutes later the same night @steventey responded saying he's pushed a fix and it'll be live by the morning
I had been following Steven's story online for a while now and from the very first day as a customer it's obvious why he's had so much growth and success
- beautifully designed app and developer experience
- top notch support from Steven himself
- consistent social media presence
Founder mode: always on 🫡

A trend I've noticed among a bunch of young peers is that they feel justifiably angry about a bunch of things in "the system" that seem to be working against them.
But they default to blaming corporations or capitalism generally, not realizing that when they peel back another layer it's actually the government and regulation that are often the true cause of the problems.
This is especially true with a lot of the downstream effects of inflation, from the cost of living to housing affordability to rising inequality. The government will do everything in its power to convince you that other factors are to blame. But the root cause is simply that they've printed too much money, which benefits them at your expense.
Before you say "this is a big problem and we need the government to fix this," figure out if the government has already tried to fix it and has in fact made the problem much worse. Because there are many such cases.

The order of events were as follows
1. Insurance company correctly realizes that California homes are at higher risk of a fire
2. Due to the higher risk want to raise the rates of insurance for certain homes
3. The state of California does not let them raise the rates to match the risk
4. The insurance companies leave the state because they would otherwise be losing money
Your anger is directed at insurance companies when it should be towards the state for trying to artificially set limits to the rates

The best way to come up with business ideas is to solve your own problems first
Odds are someone else has the same one
@codyschneider and @maxchehab churning this out
i hate writing docs
everyone does
so here's how to automate them
screen record talking through the product
you just record a loom or whatever
take recording and transcribe word by word with time stamps so we can pull screenshots from specific moments in video
use transcript as source to write and format the doc
screenshots added based on keywords
do this for every feature
never write docs again
we built internal tool that does this from loom URL youtube URL etc
if you want this link below
Don't like posts going out without your approval?
Try @meetassembly
It finally happened
I ran into someone using @meetassembly in the wild
"Hey I saw you're using Assembly, I'm uhhh Francisco I build it"
Turns out it's @sullydoesitall who I had spoken to through support and he also lives in Austin!
Really such a small world
Easiest way to fill up your social calendar and the basis for what’s to come
Custom prompts trained on your content coming soon
Kinda wild @vercel's own website and their app is down but their status page vercel-status.com/ shows everything works 😅
(also please fix, we need everything up and running soon)

Anyone searching for Prime Deals should use Keepa to double check the discount
- Laptop was the same price a month ago
- iPad is closer to 5% off not 24% off
- Roomba is heavily discounted but might better off with Warehouse Deals
