Thanks to @wcsCHSto and @CHSCougarDC for bringing student volunteers to help load Thanksgiving food supplies in cars! This annual giveaway is sponsored by @fssdMAC and @feedamerifirst to ensure families have plenty to eat over the holidays. #FSSDproud #FSSDBeNice @NoKidHungryTN

We appreciate @nabholz being active partners as they work on on our school campuses. Pausing their work day to hold a Touch-A-Truck event with story time and a snack for our @fssdMAC preschoolers across the street was elite! Thanks for the donated work bench too!

As today’s predicted severe weather moves closer, the FSSD will close two hours early. Because the timing of the storm’s arrival could create safety issues at dismissal, we will close schools 2 hours early. MAC and the weekly food distribution will also be cancelled today.

The FSSD will monitor the severe weather forecast overnight to determine if adjustments to the school day will need to be made. If a school schedule adjustment needs to be made as the storms move closer, you will receive an immediate notification from the FSSD at that time.

With little ones in their building, the FSSD Technology Department can’t help joining in the fun for the @fssdMAC #ReadAcrossAmericaWeek Seuss parade.

We hope you enjoyed making some snowy memories. ❄️ We can’t wait to hear about them all tomorrow... at school. 💙 – at Franklin, TN
