Flare is a radically larger project than what was originally envisioned. Instead of serving a single community with a single utility, Flare’s protocols are now on the path to provide developers with scalable smart contracts, truly decentralized price feeds, secure state acquisition from other blockchains, superior bridging for smart contract and non-smart contract assets, secured data relay and horizontal scaling through a fully interoperable multi-chain ecosystem, starting with Songbird. Flare will present developers with a single, simple, coherent stack on which to build applications that are fully cross-chain capable.

If we are going to do memes on Flare then a launchpad model I would strongly support is one that shares revenue with FIRE.
There would also be an added benefit for those engaging in meme speculation who also hold FLR as the net effect of said speculation would feed FIRE, leading to a direct positive effect on the FLR that they hold.

Prediction markets have an elephant in the room: defining truth at settlement.
Resolution is not something that should rely on people.
And certainly not in a very narrow and specific subset of token holders.
What markets need for real resolution is verifiable data.
That's why the Flare Data Connector (FDC) introduces a major upgrade to prediction markets.
FDC is built to bring external data onchain using attestations that are proven by Merkle proofs (against published Merkle roots!).
Smart contracts can verify those proofs and settle deterministically based on pre-declared rules.
These rules are completely transparent and cannot be corrupted.
So instead of debating outcomes, you define them:
Resolve YES if this exact event is attested, and resolve NO otherwise.
This is not a silver bullet for all markets. But for markets that can be expressed as a clean data predicate, FDC can turn resolution from a political process into a cryptographic one.
That's the real path to prediction markets people can trust at scale.

I'm happy to share that @FlareNetworks has just been added to the @CoinMarketCap ISO 20022 category.
This reflects a growing recognition that Flare is one of the few networks actually building ISO 20022-style workflows on a top public blockchain, not just using the narrative.
Thanks to the work with @ProofRails, dApps on Flare can turn everyday onchain actions (tips, payments, payout flows) into structured ISO-style receipts and reports that off-chain systems can actually use: accountants, treasuries, and eventually banks and PSPs.
