@Uber @Uber_India @UberIN_Support @Uber_Support i landed at delhi airport today and had one of the most terrifying experiences of my life with an uber driver. i'm still shaken. i booked an uber to gurgaon for a 20-minute ride. the fare shown on my uber app was around ₹625. after the trip, the driver showed me a screenshot from rapido quoting ₹1,479 and demanded that i pay that amount instead. when i pointed out that this was a rapido screenshot and not an uber screenshot, he said, “iss route ka itna hi hota hai.” i paid the ₹625 that was shown on my uber app. what followed was genuinely frightening. he locked the car and refused to let me take my luggage out unless i paid ₹1,479. when i tried retrieving my belongings, he held my arm and shut the front-seat window where my luggage was, trying to stop me from taking it out. i somehow managed to get my luggage and tried to enter my house. he followed me, forced the gate, abused me horribly and wouldn't let me go inside peacefully. i finally managed to get inside and lock the door. he then started climbing the gate while hurling abuses and threatening my life. all of this happened around 4:45 am in gurgaon, when i'd just landed and was simply trying to get home safely. and it gets worse. i'm trying to reach uber's safety support, and the safety support option isn't available to me. i'm dealing with a terrifying situation involving physical aggression and life threats, and i can't even get through to the platform's safety team. this wasn't a fare dispute anymore. this was intimidation, physical aggression and a terrifying violation of my safety at my own doorstep. @Uber_Support @Uber_India @UberIN_Support @Uber, i need an urgent human response, a proper investigation and concrete action. please preserve the trip and driver records and tell me how this is being addressed. i've used cabs to get around in different countries and never imagined i'd feel this unsafe trying to get home in my own country. how am i supposed to trust a service that i booked specifically to get home safely? driver name: JAMIL JAHID KHAN

Disappointed with @Swiggy! I’m deaf and cannot speak on calls. The delivery partner ignored my messages, my order was cancelled without my consent, and ₹189 cancellation fee was charged. No refund received! Please investigate and resolve this fairly. Order ID: 251883201193051

My wife Stephy was admitted to @medanta needing just 1L oxygen. Now she’s on a ventilator, and bills have crossed ₹11 lakh. I’ve formally raised serious patient safety concerns, including SpO₂ dropping to 40% during transfer and medication delays. @MoHFW_INDIA @PMOIndia

Doctor Randall Sequeira moved to Odisha’s Kalahandi to work with tribal communities, travelling to remote villages and holding health camps. Years later, he is in judicial custody after being arrested in connection with an anti-mining protest. Police have linked his arrest to a clash between tribals and police over the Sijimali bauxite project, while activists have condemned the action. Here’s a look at the case and the allegations surrounding his arrest. 🔗 indianexpress.com/article/in…

I cannot stress this enough: the arrest of Dr Randall & Dalit activist Laxman Naik in #Kalahandi is as abhorrent as the arrest of @SauravDassss & @AshutoshRanka They're being allowed to speak to their lawyers/family. BJP govt in #Odisha is as cruel as the govt in #Delhi
Not a single doctor's lobby is speaking up for Dr Randall. Every pressure group in medicine is corrupt & self serving. This poor man should not be in prison. What a shame.

A story that damages many claims by ECI @Basantrajsonu and @AshwineSingh report that a Booth level agent of the BIP filed 5359 form 7s to delete people. When the ERO refused to do bulk deletions, the BLA wrote to the ECI. And ECI said, file them newslaundry.com/2026/10/24/u… #

Dear . @narendramodi (PM) , Cc - @RahulGandhi (LOP) Subject: Arunachal Pradesh is one of the 28 states of India Dear Sir, As we know, for the past few years, the residents of Arunachal Pradesh have been crying out, requesting, and demanding action against Chinese intrusions into Indian territory. If you and your Parliament have no knowledge that Arunachal Pradesh is one of the 28 states of India and a part of Indian territory, kindly protect it. If you cannot do so due to external foreign pressure, please be loud and clear and resign. Thanking you, A law-abiding citizen of India.

Whenever I raise my voice about injustices in Ladakh the government media machinery gets activated to target me & our institute HIAL’s land lease. Please take the message, don’t kill the messenger. A quick look at this letter shows their own delays if not incompetence. In all, 5 written appeals, 15 visits & 30 calls were made appealing for timely execution of land lease. Please help me by sharing this with all media houses that covered the issue. #Ladakh #HIAL #SonamWangchuk

The reported security incident pertains to this only. MeitY is not involved in its audit. The impact of this incident on Indian websites and applications have been very limited and for a very short interval.

A Certifying Authority used the number “4” as a private key. eMudhra’s weak keys could let fraudsters fake your bank’s website, padlock included. We’ve written to eMudhra, the Controller of Certifying Authorities and CERT-In asking for a fix. #eMudhra #Cybersecurity #DigitalIndia #InternetFreedom

Akshay, you know very well that Amit Shah is the one giving protection to these gangsters. He is directly responsible for threatening your livelihoods, your family’s safety and your fellow actors in the industry. The more you behave like slaves in front of him, the more he will treat you like trash. But the moment you unite as an industry and take a courageous stand, they will be taken aback. Luckily, you have earned enough money and fame for next 5 generations. This Gunda Raj of dictator will end soon, in a few more years. The only questions is, How will you look back upon this time? What will you tell your grandchildren? That you bowed down in the hope of an illusion of safety? Or you had the guts to show some courage? Take some inspiration from your fellow industry people like Imran Khan and Prakash Raj. I know the whole industry is under a lot of pressure but the sooner we have our country back, the sooner you and your fellow actors can have the good old freedom and peace again :)

An estimated 130,000,000 people were removed from India's voter rolls this year. It's the largest amount of people who have had voting rights revoked in human history, with many claiming it's government censorship.

So? This is sheer incompetence from eMudhra and should be called out harder.
Folks who are absolutely belittle the indian tech ecosystem because of this emudhra thing, needs to be reminded that - 1. In 2019, Facebook stored passwords for around 400 Million users in plaintext inside internal systems, found out after an attack. 2. In 2017, Equifax’s Argentina employee portal for handling credit disputes was protected by the username and password **“admin” / “admin”**. 3. In 2013, Adobe breach exposed data on 150M accounts, as the passwords weren't hashed. 4. Uber directly left AWS keys on github - TWICE. In 2014 and 2016, and data of 57M riders and drivers was leaked.

Modi is entangled in Hardip’s provider’s role. Therefore our PM must come out in Indian media openly, and make clear what he did with Hardip. I could go to Court, but it is better for BJP if Modi makes his position himself.
