Prediction markets, day trading, and sports betting apps are addicting young men at alarming rates.
Quit it helps them quit and take back control.
Quit gambling. Keep your money.

Say it with me: Today is November 1st and I'm done letting gambling ruin my mood. I am gamble free moving forward. I am strong.
It's finally time for me to walk away from gambling
Not because I lost everything or because the money stopped coming in, but because I genuinely don’t want to live this life anymore
The sponsorship money is great, and I have nothing but love for the team at Gamdom. They’ve treated me incredibly well, and I genuinely believe they have one of the best teams in the industry
I’ve wanted to quit for a while now, but walking away from six figures a week just to gamble was incredibly difficult
I grew up in a household where we sometimes struggled to put food on the table. The younger me couldn’t have even imagined making this kind of money, let alone voluntarily giving it up
But after spending so many years gambling, I think I’ve done more damage to myself than I ever wanted to admit
The reality is, I have a serious addiction. It doesn’t matter how much money I win or how much I’m given, I can never seem to keep any of it
I’m the type of person who will chase my losses to the ends of the earth. No amount of money will ever be enough
It’s an endless cycle of winning, losing, chasing, and never feeling satisfied. Even being handed free money to gamble has lost its appeal because I know exactly where it all ends up
I’ve also come to realize that I’m not proud of promoting something that has caused so much suffering in my own life
I can’t keep warning people about the dangers of gambling while continuing to be part of the very industry that encourages it
Somewhere along the way, I lost sight of the person I wanted to become
I have a lot of things to make peace with, a lot of sins to repent for, and a lot of work to do on myself
I want to experience happiness again without needing to risk money just to feel something. I want to find purpose in things that actually matter
I’ve spent so many years chasing money that I forgot what it feels like to live without chasing anything at all
I don’t expect to undo years of damage overnight, and I know walking away won’t be easy, but I owe it to myself to try
I just want my life back

Day 3 no gambling, im able to actually be at work & be present at work.
Im able to actually sleep past 2am.
Im able to actually go my entire day & enjoy the day.
Ill update more soon
Maybe it’s time I use my platform to discourage gambling instead of promoting it
Should I keep sharing my thoughts, struggles, and urges as I try to quit?
Hopefully, documenting my journey could help others battling the same addiction and encourage them to quit alongside me

1. get an accountability buddy and check in once a week
2. sign a personal pledge and put somewhere you'll see every day
3. use an app blocker so even if you redownload the app or the site it is blocked
4. think about/start a new hobbie
5. does gambling fulfill you?? what does?
