Can SpaceX really put up 25% of all new US compute next year?
@altcap's Brad Gerstner broke down the numbers from the call:
- 200,000 GB300s stood up every month
- 3 GW by year end
- 10 GW next year, out of about 43 GW for the whole US
And the payback? @TeslaLarry says it's roughly one year of revenue, and SpaceX CFO Bret Johnsen says it's getting down to 6 months.
Elon even says there's a path to 20 GW.

Have you replaced either You're half shaft, or the c v axle, or knuckle?
@cyberoffroad
Do you think it's possible I just need those bolts tightened?
I'm at a 122000 miles..
When I decelerate extremely fast into a hard turn, I can feel the left front clicking. But then when I'm in high suspension i hear clicking or stripping out, and the a** end of the truck seems to raise up in the air as it's accelerating..in the back when it's accelerating – at Moab, UT
Is your spare tire (off road people)on cybertruck the same brand as the other four?
In other words, i'm about to buy four brand new tires, and I was thinking about keeping one of the old ones as a spare and find a rim, but the four new tires i'm getting are at different brand. If I were to drive on a spare tire that had a different tire tread and different life, will it cause damage? If I drove fifty or sixty miles?

Elon Musk has made more than one “bet the company” bets with Tesla..
Tesla’s Optimus is one more time that Elon Musk is ALL IN on an ambitious bet. But Optimus is NOT Optimus without chips. The chip constraint MUST be solved.
A JV on the Terafab doesn’t cut it, SpaceX owns the Terafab, and Tesla just is contributing the much smaller Research Fab Lab. And Chip suppliers said they could support just 20% YOY growth. Tesla also may be edged out of chip design for AI space compute by the SpaceX/Nvidia partnership.
I have been invested in Tesla since the IPO, but without a concrete plan to solve for the chip constraint in the form of a merger, or a MUCH bigger role in the Terafab, I will start reallocating money from $TSLA to $SPCX (SPCX is solving for constraints).
Growth simply doesn’t happen without sufficient raw materials and key parts. The delayed annual meeting for just three proxy items is akin to a boyfriend taking you repeatedly to look at rings - and never proposing.
I hope those on the TSLA & SPCX earnings calls this week ask THE questions that matter.
♦️Does Tesla have the supply chain in place to double or triple or quadruple production in 2 years? In 5?
♦️How about capital to fund growth?
A growth stock depends on constraints being solved.
Neither company can respond to questions on a merger - but @elonmusk can answer questions on chip supply & capital.
Only in a capitalist system do entrepreneurs VOLUNTARILY give money direct to millions with no intermediary “tax”.
A share of SPCX is even more meaningful - especially as a gift from
It’s founder to America’s kids.
SPCX shares inviteschildren to participate and have OWNERSHIP in the Space Frontier. It creates a sense of Awe. And infinite possibilities.
And this - first of many - gift is the best possible antidote to communists attempt to corrupt children.
