The winds of change are rising across the world, and the youth of Belgrade have shown us what is possible when people stand up for their future. Kenya, too, shall have its moment. Kenyan youth, you are not children of a lesser God, your time, too, will come, and together, we shall get our country back!
Celebrations have erupted in the streets of Serbia's capital Belgrade, after long-standing leader Aleksandar Vučić admitted defeat to a student-led protest movement in snap parliamentary elections. Read more: bbc.in/4BwV5ga

I don’t know if those who are categorical that there can be no miracles in elections are following the happenings in Serbia and Brazil. Im super encouraged for 2027 because we in Kenya pray to the same God. Inshallah we get ours too.

When United fans realise this is the norm for them will be a great day. They literally have one good manager who won 95% of their trophies. Greatness is not ingrained in that club it was down to one man. They can't accept that.

Harvesting 56 HECTARES of trees that you did not plant is MADNESS Harvesting 138 ACRES of trees you cannot even name is WILD GREED will finish this country This is just one of the ways.
CLARIFICATION ON FOREST PLANTATION HARVESTING IN NGONG HILLS FOREST The Kenya Forest Service (KFS) has noted video clips and photographs circulating on social media alleging illegal logging in Ngong Hills Forest, with claims that the activities are being carried out at night. The Service wishes to clarify the circumstances surrounding the ongoing forest plantation harvesting operations. Harvesting of mature forest plantations in the Kibiku Forest Block of Ngong Hills Forest is being undertaken following a competitive bidding process and the subsequent award of a tender for the harvesting of 56 hectares of mature plantations, in accordance with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015, the Forest Conservation and Management Act 2026 (FCMA 2026), the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and forest harvesting rules (2016). Furthermore, forest operations are required to be conducted between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., as stipulated under the FCMA 2026. Upon completion of the harvesting process, the Community Forest Association is normally engaged to replant more trees through the Plantation Enterprise and Livelihood Improvement Scheme (PELIS). Regarding the photograph circulating on social media showing a trailer loaded with logs, the Service has received information that the vehicle had broken down and was undergoing repairs. KFS is verifying the circumstances surrounding the incident. The photograph alone does not establish that harvesting activities were taking place at night. The Service urges members of the public to seek clarification from the nearest KFS station on any concerns regarding forest management and harvesting activities. KFS urges the public to rely on verified information when commenting on the matter and to report all suspicious activities to the nearest police station for investigations or email [email protected]

For all its sins, Twitter has made me very grateful for the parents I had, the marriage they lived, and the humiliation that their commitment to each other spared us. The things I read here shock me every day. It's just a group of men & women who want to have their cake & eat it.

Certain people really struggle to simply let people celebrate the institution of marriage. Surely, there’s room to acknowledge its complexities, recognise that it isn’t for everyone, and still appreciate the role of family in society. These positions aren’t mutually exclusive.

I'm convinced the forests were privatized
Did you know that public commercial forest plantations in Kenya are harvested and replanted in rotation cycles, much like agricultural crops?

Logging in Aberdares started heavily in 2023. In 2024, I took this video, I had already seen it was deforestation and not harvesting. These trees take over 25 years to mature. Ruto Must Go!
This is around Kamae along Flyover-Thika Road through the Aberdares. The indiscriminate felling of trees is alarming. That's not harvesting. That's serious deforestation. And it's happening all over Kenya.

I think it's time for the Kenya Defense Forces to establish a buffer zone of like 5 km inside Ethiopia to prevent these clashes from spilling over into Kenya
ETHIOPIA — 🔥 The deadly ethnic violence along Ethiopia’s border with Kenya continues to escalate, showing no signs of abating as it enters its third day. The clashes between Oromo and Somali communities in and around Moyale have reportedly claimed lives, left people injured, and caused widespread destruction through arson and looting. Hundreds of Ethiopian civilians, including women and children, have fled across the border into #Kenya to escape the violence. The fighting has reportedly spread to multiple locations, raising fears of further casualties, mass displacement, and a deeper humanitarian crisis. The unrest, fueled by longstanding territorial and administrative disputes and tensions over the raising of the Somali Regional State flag, underscores the urgent need to protect civilians and prevent further escalation.

If devolution was working the way it was intended, the governors of Nyandarua, Mūrang'a,Kiambu&Nyeri should have met by now & taken a common stand on how to protect the Aberdare Forest. It should not be business as usual while they risk losing their most important water tower😔.
