I haven’t catched up on those bc the pacing was a little too slow for me but I second this thought on a spiritual level. Bland MLs have done so much wrong to the readers they lit will take for granted a ML is insipid and 🚩the first minute they’re rude to FL (1/2)

i don't get how most people say they dont like "bland" mls but as soon as there's an ml who has motives of his own or is maybe sly or secretive these same people will start hating on him and will immediately prefer a lead who is "green flag" (aka just likes the fl for no reason)

I feel this in my veins 💀my male mcs are criticized for basically having their own life, flaws and goals 👑manwhuas brainwashed readers to only care about the 💕and forget to see the context. They’re quick to judge if a ML doesn’t match their expectations at the first glance too
