There is a massive GAP between gold demand and gold prices: Physical-gold backed ETFs tracked by Bloomberg have recorded 14 consecutive WEEKS of inflows. $GLD This has brought gold ETF holdings to nearly 102 million troy ounces, their highest level since mid-2022. However, over the same period, gold prices have declined -1%, after rising as much as +16% before falling -14% from their local highs. $GLDM Long-term gold investors appear to be taking advantage of this accumulation opportunity to hedge against fiscal uncertainty, geopolitical tensions, and the constant erosion of currency purchasing power. At the same time, short-term gold price movements reflect interest-rate expectations shaped by oil prices and FX movements, as well as technical factors. Smart money is accumulating gold at a historic pace.

Fertilizer through Hormuz has dropped to zero. No fertilizer cargoes crossing the strait in September or October. Before the war, about 20% of the world’s traded nitrogen fertilizer went through it, Fertilizer Daily reports. The Gulf also supplies about half of the world’s traded sulfur. Hear me out: urea isn’t the problem. China raised its nitrogen exports about 47% and the US about 60%. By the end of August urea was back to its January price, IFPRI data shows. Sulfur is the problem. It has more than doubled, to above $1,000 a tonne, and phosphate is up 25–30%. You need sulfur to make phosphate fertilizer. Mosaic has idled two Louisiana plants, and India’s fertilizer subsidy bill could pass 3 trillion rupees, against 1.71 trillion budgeted. Oil found other ways out of the Gulf. Sulfur hasn’t. source: World Visualized

MAJOR BREAKING: Just moments ago, Ansar Allah (Houthi) spokesman Yahya Saree announced MULTIPLE extremely significant strikes against Saudi Arabia that were carried out in the last 24 hours. Most notable, by far, is the announcement that the EAST WEST PIPELINE was struck at "multiple pumping stations and the crude oil pipeline". This... is one of THE MOST significant pieces of energy infrastructure in ALL of Saudi Arabia. This was struck last month, and caused immense operational issues for Saudi Aramco. The second operation is also INCREDIBLY significant with announced successful strikes on the Saudi Aramco infrastructure in Yanbu. The Port of Yanbu is one of the most critical export points for Saudi oil and products, and essentially could force Saudi to ONLY move oil through the Strait of Hormuz... which isn't going particularly well right now. The third claimed strike is one that struck the Rabigh Oil Refinery for at least the second time in the past two weeks. This facility, located just Northwest of Jeddah, will further constrain the global supply of refined products that has seen extraordinary increases in the prices of gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel in recent months. In addition to these INCREDIBLY significant "alleged" strikes on Saudi energy infrastructure, Ansar Allah also carried out multiple strikes on airports across Saudi Arabia to include in the King Khalid Airport in the Saudi capital of Riyadh, the King Fahd International Airport in Dammam on the far East of The Kingdom, and the Najran Airport, along with the Air Base at Khamis Mushait. While we do not yet know for CERTAIN that these claimed strikes by Ansar Allah resulted in devastating blows to their targets, we do know that multiple of these targets were absolutely targeted in the past 24 hours according to published Early Warning Alerts from the Saudi Directorate of Civil Defense. Alerts were issued in the past 24 hours to include Yanbu, Taif, Najran, Riyadh, Jeddah (Rabigh), Wadi al-Dawasir, Khamis Mushait, and Najran. By all INITIAL indications... there is significant credibility to the claims made here by Ansar Allah. While we do not yet have CONFIRMATION of these claims from open source information, it is highly likely that a MAJORITY, if not all, of these claims being made by Ansar Allah are accurate.

Wow. Commercial banks have KYC obligations and are under law enforcement, but i guess you can bypass that by having access to an account at a central bank. This takes 'off the books' transactions to a whole other level.

It's obviously a load of nonsense. Generally the crypto people do a coordinated propaganda blitz whenever they are worried their precious Bitcoin is about to fall off a cliff. Notice it was down over 4% at one point today.

BREAKING: Central banks around the world are now quietly stockpiling 4 times as much gold as usual and moving it out of the US, per Goldman Sachs, amid senior officials warning that the gold is "no longer safe" in Trump’s hands. Purchases hit 79 tonnes in August against a pre-2022 average of 17, while holdings at the New York Fed fell 40 tonnes and holdings at the Bank of England rose 46. China was the largest buyer at 25 tonnes, aimed at rapidly diversifying away from the US dollar and G7 currencies. On the storage side, Netherlands moved 86 tonnes out of New York and Ottawa, citing "increasing geopolitical unrest." France sold 129 tonnes in New York and bought gold in Europe instead.

BREAKING: Iran has drawn up detailed plans to attack the 7 major undersea Internet cables in the Gulf as soon as the US and Israel attack it again, per two senior Iranian officials to Reuters. Iran says it would aim to prevent repairs after any attack to prolong the disruption to communications and internet connections. "If Iran is attacked, there will be no more red lines, from undersea cables to military bases, including covert ones." The official warned US not to "play with fire," saying Iran has full access to the cables and could easily destroy them. More than 99% of international data traffic travels through undersea cables. Iran warned this month that US-linked data centres and AI facilities across the Gulf will also be targeted.

BREAKING: Trump and his World Liberty Financial officially sued over illegally profiting from his office in violation of the US Constitution, per Bloomberg. "This action is about the President of the United States corruptly profiting from more than $2 billion in payments from a foreign government in direct violation of the Constitution," Greenberg said in the filed complaint. "No president in American history has profited from his office so brazenly," he adds. The Trump family generated at least $4 billion in profits from their main crypto ventures, market trades, and other investments since Trump took office.

The U.S. has over the past three years spent $11 BILLION in taxpayer money on missile defense for Israel. It has fired more interceptors defending Israel than Israel has. That is not a symbiotic relationship. It is a parasitic one.

BREAKING: Dutch spies hacked Jared Kushner's iPhone and watched him access a Dubai bank account holding hundreds of millions funneled from Azerbaijan, part of at least $2 billion MBS and MBZ placed for him after he promised to push their agenda with Trump, per a Vanity Fair excerpt. "Jared was looking for shortcuts in his diplomacy. He promised MBZ that he'd push their agenda with Trump if they participated in a fund. He wanted normalization with Israel so that business could take off," a source who knew the arrangement said. The money was meant to redraw the region's map and lock in normalization with Israel. Roughly $1 billion of it was deposited in Israel's Central Bank for Kushner, with Netanyahu requiring dual-key approval on any transfers. The two royals initially discussed more than $10 billion for a shared slush fund. That narrowed to roughly $2 billion deposited into accounts Kushner could access, including roughly $750 million at First Abu Dhabi Bank under a UAE charity used as cover for covert operations. The reveal comes as Kushner is deeply involved in Iran war diplomacy, where Iran has accused him and Steve Witkoff of pocketing $9 billion through market manipulation, using insider knowledge of the talks to trade oil futures, energy stocks, and prediction markets.

This drop in gold is ultimately very bullish. NASDAQ down 700 points, Bitcoin down 4% on the day, the 10 yr Treasury yield dropping below 5% as everyone rotates out of the risk on trade into bonds. The stars are aligning for an epic rug pull and reversal.

Central banks around the world are quietly stockpiling four times more gold than usual and are moving it out of the U.S. Goldman Sachs wrote in a note earlier this week that it estimates central banks globally purchased 79 tonnes of gold in August, more than four times the amount of the pre-2022 average (the year the Russia-Ukraine war began) of 17 tonnes. On a three-month seasonally adjusted basis, purchases are running at 85 tonnes per month, Goldman noted. fortune.com/2026/10/22/centr…
