The federal government can lease property from private entities; it happens all the time. The sketchy thing is that the post office sold this to the mosque, and now the mosque is releasing it back to them. The law says that even leased property that is federal government property is still federal government property. So people can only be trespassed from the post office through a federal process. The postmaster general should be contacted, and whoever the 1811 is will have to investigate. The mosque should not trespass people from post office property, and the post office should not trespass people for asking questions about what is public and private. Nor should the employees file trespassing charges. I hope these guys sue.
