Mayor @dadamorero. After a 9 day outage of water by @JHBWater in Berea @CityofJoburgZA it was restored last Sunday afternoon. Took a day for pressure to recover. But now thursday5/11 at 6am water is off even till now. How are people supposed to live their lives like this?

If the DA can get to 34-35% in Joburg they may hold their nose and go into coalition with ASA in Joburg and Pta. They'll give Tshwane executive positions to ASA, and look to run Joburg. My completely uninformed opinion. But depends on whether Mashaba and Zille can control egos.
On current numbers (%) for @IECSouthAfrica LGE2026 The DA/ActionSA/VF+ alliance could run Ekurhuleni, Jhb, Tshwane and Mogale City. If you then include DA majority in Midvaal and Emfuleni it can be that ANC have no seats in Gauteng mun.
voters and residents of johannesburg are watching how the parties that received the bigger % share of the votes in LGE2026 now act in the coalition talks. Its no longer about them nor their party but about the city. will they act responsibly & in the interest of the people?
Suggestion: SA should have a run off election if no party get above 50%. all parties that received more than 5% of the vote at elections go through to run off held 2 weeks later. Only persons who voted in the election may participate in the run off.
