In Canada, if you're depressed but able-bodied, you don't qualify for MAID. But, if you're depressed and use a wheelchair, you do qualify for MAID. Canada already euthanizes people with mental illness if they also have a physical illness, disability, or neurological condition.

Too much to think about? Harsh reality? Terry Fox was eligible for MAID. It would have affected how he dealt with his illness, simply by having to choose. A little thought experiment really triggered a lot of people.

yup. a good doctor who prescribed cannabis sativa. i ended up topping my flower with shatter, and im down to one or two seizures a month now. its an ephemeral treatment, but it works well enough when i keep medicated. now every day is extra time for me.
