I'm watching the series now. This was my favorite novel in high school when I was being introduced to literature. The series is gorgeous and I love the voiceover narrative! I'm looking forward to finishing watching tonight after I read @GregOlear's piece he did on Substack today about series. He's a wonderful writer. I hope you've seen it. 💫✨
east of eden on @netflix oct 1st! letter of recommendation: watch on the biggest screen you can and put your phone down first. so much of this story is told visually/through performance and I don't want you to miss anything. and imho the best place for a break is btw eps 4 & 5 🖤

In Ukraine, Mr. Zelenskyy Is wary of Western perfidy. For four long years he’s held them off, Defying Putin and Lavrov. Mr. Trump’s done all that he can do For the FSB and the GRU. Then he turns around and starts blaming YOU! Is America Russia too? c: @chunkled

Must watch.

He likes men’s butts and their private parts Jon Husted’s and Jaxson Dart’s. He likes those guys with tree-trunk thighs And gorgeous deep blue eyes. He goes wild For a shake like Kelis. Natalie gets jealous. Though it’s awkward and he’s odd, he Must inspect that body, And speak his thoughts out loud. He’d make Roy Cohn proud, And his old pal Liberace. Disgusting. donald & Musk are monsters and whores.
Latest: Zelenskyy tells reporters over WhatsApp that restrictions on Ukraine's Starlink systems remain. Interceptor drones can't function, logistics and operations hobbled. The maximum speed is 161 kph; "exceeding this limit causes the Starlink connection to cut out completely, resulting in the loss of the drone." He says Ukraine has done tests to determine whether SpaceX is truly facing technical issues, as has been told Kyiv by the US side, or if this is a "deliberate operation... to restrict us, cut us off, and prevent us from defending ourselves and protecting our people, both at the front and among the civilian population." He says Ukraine "sent a couple of vehicles equipped with Starlink terminals into European Union territory." "They moved at speeds exceeding 180kph, and the Starlink systems worked perfectly. We have the relevant logs and evidence to prove this." He adds: "The conclusion is clear: the restrictions are in effect within Ukraine but do not apply within the European Union. In other words, this is a planned operation."

At this point, anyone that still believes the Trump family isn't selling every scrap of US intelligence to the Russians is a moron.

To put this in laymen's terms, Musk and Trump are now hobbling Ukraine's ability to protect its civilian population from a type of Russian drone that functions more like a cruise missile. This is not the United States adopting a neutral position vis-a-vis the war. This is the United States facilitating Russian terror.

He knows its not that simple. An implied power/authority over those young girls with a locally known political dynasty's party boy son, state elected, then congress. As if those girls had any say. Greenberg threatened them. They were under the drinking age, under the influence, given illegal drugs & then passed around, from grown man to grown man.

If confirmed, this is telling: Russian data centres get hit, and online activity around AfD suddenly plummets. 📉 So much talk about German patriotism… then the connection from Russia goes down. 🤔🇷🇺

Putin's early moves in 1999 were brutal, clumsy, criminal and exposed. A handful of journos experienced the war in Chechnya. Anna didn't because she was poisoned on her way there. Others were kidnapped or murdered. I survived to tell the story. Many others died afterwards.
Today marks 20 years since Novaya Gazeta journalist Anna Politkovskaya was murdered in Moscow. She recognized Putin's true nature earlier than most—and the regime could never erase the truth she died to tell.
