Market Lab, the infrastructure that powers @furgetrade is moving to closed source
Given the growing number of security incidents, exploits, and supply-chain attacks across the ecosystem lately, I've decided to make Market Lab's core codebase private.
Market Lab has grown beyond a simple CLI. It now handles trading execution, automated strategies, market making, and integrations across multiple exchanges on.
As the system grows, so does my responsibility to protect the people relying on it.
This does not affect your ability to download or use Market Lab CLI. The CLI will remain publicly available, and development, updates, and releases will continue as usual. Only the source code will become private.
Going closed source doesn't automatically make software secure, but this is one of several steps I'm taking to strengthen the project's security.
I appreciate everyone who has supported Market Lab's open-source journey so far.

You don’t have to place an entire order at once & even leave your browser opened at the same time.
In Furge, choose how much you want to buy or sell and how long to spread it over. TWAP handles the individual orders, and you can follow the execution as it runs on your daemon, close your browser also & it keeps running.

when i started building @oxleydotfun i never expected it to be easy, or simple
it was just a crazy idea in my head about making net new games for onchain enjoyoors because nothing's exciting rn
now i have a community of people who bully me on telegram everyday to ship new stuff. i've made new friends who inspire me to work harder (shoutout @gurtcrypto). i've spoken with 100s of traders and builders and gained extremely valuable insight into what Oxley as a product and a business should look like. i've even had independent security researchers contribute hours of their time reviewing the codebase without asking for a dime.

i’m shutting down outrive.xyz and clique.trade
this is probably one of the hardest decisions i’ve had to make as a builder & in my LIFE.
i’ve poured so much of my time, money, and energy into them. countless nights building, debugging, shipping, and trying to turn ideas i believed in into something people could actually use.
but behind all of that, things haven’t been easy for me personally.
i’ve been struggling, trying to keep infrastructure running, maintain multiple products, and somehow keep myself going at the same time. everything has been bootstrapped, and there’s only so much i can carry alone.
it’s painful to walk away from things you’ve invested so much into, especially when you know what it took to build them.
but i’ve come to accept that not everything you build has to succeed, and not everything you start has to continue forever.
in life, you’ll fail. you’ll try again, fail again, learn, and keep trying until you eventually win. that’s something i’ll always believe in.
right now, neither Outrive nor Clique is something i can continue to maintain, financially or otherwise.
by October 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM UTC, all Outrive and Clique services will be permanently shut down.
please make any necessary arrangements before then, by closing positions, withdrawing funds & exporting keys.
going forward, my entire focus will be on @furgetrade, which start as marketlab.sh. i want to give it the attention it deserve and, hopefully, build something sustainable out of everything i’ve learned.
to everyone who used Outrive or Clique, supported me, shared feedback, or simply believed in what i was building, thank you. genuinely.
this isn’t me giving up on building. it’s me accepting that sometimes you have to let go of things you love to give something else a real chance.

I’m incredibly bullish on the next few months for Hyperliquid, HyperEVM and Elysium.
There’s so much cool stuff being built right now, and now that I’m back to a normal schedule, I finally have some time to connect with the builders.
Just this week I had calls with:

> @0xJeezed building @IntelTrade (Hyperliquid trading terminal with real-time intelligence)
> @flyest building @oxleydotfun (Elysium launchpad that prices new tokens through fair auctions)
Love all 3. Smart founders solving real problems, and I think they have what it takes to find strong PMF.

I'm thankful that I have an insane level of composure and calmness embedded into me.
I'm currently at a point where I'm very stressed about shipping my consumer app, @expdotfun ~ to a point where I can release it to the public to access it other than my beta users.
rather than crashing out... I'm intellectualising my thoughts and fortunately/unfortunately, I always understand the reason(s) behind it so it massively limits the amount of complaining I can do. I don't condone complaining behaviour.
I don't complain about shit. I just instantly look for solutions - because of this, I don't sit with how I feel or what I think long enough. my emotions always take a backseat as being emotional never really solves anything.
when you have an issue and you're naturally hyper-intelligent, you know exactly why it's happening or where to look so any excuses you try to tell yourself is instantly cope...
"but..." - stfu. get it done lol.
I always speak positivity and care into my mind. every word has weight and i don't utilise words with negative semantics unless intentional (towards myself and others)
I realised a long time ago that 90% of the battles we face as humans is purely mental. simple confidence, drive and preparation goes a long way.
whilst I'm currently going through one of the most difficult periods of my life, I'm still going. I'm happy, confident and doubling down on my efforts everyday.
your inputs = your outputs
whenever you feel like things are slow, either embrace your pace and enjoy the ride or double down on your efforts to achieve the best results you possibly can.
or you can choose to pivot but this only works when you're unsure on the direction...
when you ARE sure of your direction, you have to be competitive with yourself and exceed our own expectations.
input so much action and effort that success is inevitable.
be undeniable.
be visible.
in a world full of average individuals, be the outlier.
be so big that they can't ignore you.
the only thing that will keep you going is having an unbeatable mindset.
