The main Bilal at Mount Road does similar violations
A half Km stretch of service lane, around Bilal Restaurant on Pallavaram Radial Road is completely encroached with food carts, Bilal customer cars and other heavy vehicles, creating nuisance & obstructing pedestrian movement. Don't know why Chromepet Traffic Police, Chitlapakkam L&O, Highway Officials not initiating any action to remove these encroachments inspite of repeated complaints. Doubt whether some officials from the above Department on the payroll of these encroachers. @CMOTamilnadu

While @ChennaiTraffic has done a great job with Anna Salai traffic, the @COPTBM Tambaram traffic police has done a stupid thing by introducing a signal below a flyover where the road is already narrow. The result is chaotic with perennial traffic jams. In the peak hours, the jam extends to over 15 minutes. The Maps screenshot is post peak hour at around 9 pm.
