That Vucic ultimately abandoned his coup plans is, obviously, a relief. But this story is also a reminder that he remains dangerous, and a threat to regional stability. Especially if the new Student List government appears incapable of governing; he will attempt a comeback. thetimes.com/world/europe/ar…

Please watch this short film. It’s about the shocking UAE raider attack on two UK citizens (Ryan Cornelius and Charles Ridley) who have now been held in Dubai jail unjustly for 18 years so their captors can keep their property which is now worth $3 billion.
Dubai Islamic Bank @DIBtoday assured its regulator it could sell Ryan Cornelius’s land and clear his alleged debt anytime. Instead, it kept the land, still claimed the debt was unpaid and, after Ryan served 10 years in prison, applied to extend his sentence by another 20 years.

Two weeks before Starlink's speed cap hit Ukraine's drones, a small Ukrainian satellite was already in orbit On 1 October, a SpaceX rocket carried a test craft that Denmark's GomSpace built for the Ukrainian firm Himera, the companies say. A day later, the team heard its first signals. Then, on 14 October, the links Ukraine's drones fly on began cutting out at speed, and missions were disrupted. Himera wants its own network, run by a Ukrainian operator and backed by satellites and ground terminals produced in Ukraine. "For us, this project is about more than launching a satellite," co-founder Misha Rudominski said. For now, it is one test craft with no timeline. Public trackers list just one Ukrainian satellite from that launch, named UASAT-Nano, though 26 objects from it are still unidentified. 🔗 euromaidanpress.com/2026/10/…

Putin has lost a friend who let RT work from Belgrade after the EU banned it, and who invited Russia's FSB to investigate his own police. 🧵[1/8] Here is why Putin will miss Aleksandar Vučić after Serbians voted him out.

The takeaway from the Stubb–Støre call is that #Putin has no intention of negotiating an end to the war. Let’s stop indulging in the West’s usual self-flagellation over whether the call was coordinated with other Europeans, whether it makes us look weak or strong, and so on.

And yet again, another Trump family scandal, with the same Putin crony ONCE AGAIN in bed with Trump Jr. The same Putin crony that paid for the Trump family's two day island party is now continuously involved in the Trump family's personal lives. The Financial Times reveals that Trump Jr. just spent two days hunting in Mongolia with Umar Kremlev, to whom Putin awarded Russia's Order of Friendship in April. Kremlev paid had only recently paid for two nights of celebrations in the Bahamas, including a private island costing approximately $100,000 per night and a fireworks display costing around $70,000. Payments were routed through a Dubai company affiliated with his boxing organization. Trump Jr. and his wife acknowledged the gifts. President Trump subsequently said his son would reimburse Kremlev. The relationship has now prompted a congressional investigation into possible public corruption and national security risks. Former FBI counterintelligence officials warn that Russian intelligence routinely uses money and personal relationships to cultivate access to powerful Americans. The president's son is accepting extraordinary hospitality from a businessman connected to Putin's security establishment, while his father directs American foreign policy toward Russia.
The trip highlights the remarkable relationship between a son of the US president and a tycoon with a criminal record who has close ties to Vladimir Putin’s personal security service. Intelligence experts say such connections are ripe for manipulation. ft.trib.al/p0LBRYI

According to the book, Kushner got Tillerson fired for a $50 million UAE payment because Tillerson supported Qatar. This panicked Qatar because they realized Kushner was a pay-to-play operative, so they bought Kushner's New York City apartments, which were in the red, hoping this would help.
This book is really damning for Kushner. It claims the UAE paid Kushner $50 million to get Rex Tillerson fired as Secretary of State.

What's interesting about the book on Jared Kushner is that the massive corruption it exposes, verifiable at so many levels, is now simply understood as the U.S. "doing business" to make "peace deals"... except the business benefits the Trump family, not the U.S.

Putin has deployed a fleet of trawlers to map the UK’s undersea cables, The Telegraph reports. Russia may be laying the groundwork for attacks on critical NATO infrastructure. An analysis by The Telegraph identified more than 500 instances in which Russian trawlers either circled above vital communications cables or spent extended periods traveling along their routes. The publication examined vessel movement data spanning 4.5 years and identified 17 trawlers that spent long periods moving at low speeds near cable routes. Naval experts say this behavior suggests the vessels may be mapping the seabed using sonar and underwater drones. Russian vessels may be charting the precise locations of fiber-optic cables that carry data underpinning billions of pounds’ worth of economic activity every day. The information gathered could enable Russia to target this infrastructure in a future conflict with NATO. Damage to these cables could disrupt banks, hospitals, transport systems and mobile communications.
