This past week Becky and I organized a hay drive for NE. Truly blessed with amazing community that answered the call. We had 7 semi loads taken over yesterday- the recipient was in tears. Thanks to EVERYONE that made this happen! @BVanryswyk @hansenag @rclfarms_ross

Please do not be the following statistics of why you haven’t scheduled your colonoscopy! Colon Cancer is the #1 killer in under age 50! Colonoscopy starts at age 45 or 10 years earlier of diagnosis of family member. If under 45 having GI problems find the root problem!

In early October, the Main Stream Media was all about blaming the weak farm economy on tariffs and trade rebalancing. They didn’t have it quite right though. Now the real story is rising out of the confusion. People need to hear this take. survivalworld.com/news/new-r…

High nighttime temperatures increase corn plant respiration. As a result, some of the sugar produced during the day by photosynthesis is used to sustain the plant. Sugars consumed by increased plant respiration are used at the expense of grain fill and other plant functions. Nighttime temperatures more than 70 degrees F can interfere with pollen viability, silking synchrony, and kernel development, possibly decreasing harvest yield. The graphic is data from Champaign, IL.

Hold on to your britches folks. As more farmers get in the field vs drive by the field you’re gonna see more of this. Corn that looks like 270bu corn from appearance but won’t be. Why? Not enough sugar creation/too much sugar lost.
Looks record from the road but not the case when you get out in the fields. Almost ideal rainfall in June and July. But with timely rains comes cloudy days. IMO too many cloudy days coupled with warm nights is taking a lot of bushels off the top of this crop
