🇺🇦💪🔥🇷🇺‼️ UKRAINIAN FORCES ARE REPORTEDLY PUSHING RUSSIAN TROOPS BACK EAST OF LYMAN, ADVANCING THROUGH MULTIPLE VILLAGES AND RESTORING CONTROL OVER KEY POSITIONS ALONG THE ZHEREBETS RIVER IN DONETSK OBLAST.
Over the past two weeks, Ukrainian forces have reportedly continued counteroffensive operations east of Lyman, making progress around Yampil and Zarichne.
In northern Zarichne, Ukrainian troops reportedly broke through Russian defensive positions following repeated unsuccessful Russian assaults and advanced into the village center.
Additional Ukrainian assault groups advanced from the south, also reaching central Zarichne, while small infiltration teams reportedly crossed the Zherebets River and entered Torske.
Further south, Ukrainian forces reportedly expelled Russian troops from Ivanivka, establishing full control over that section of the river’s western bank.
Ukrainian assault groups subsequently intensified operations across the river, entering Terny, Novosadove and fields farther east.
These reported advances have not been independently verified.
⚔️ The broader front stretching from Lyman toward Kupiansk has reportedly seen some of Ukraine’s most significant defensive improvements during 2026.
A year ago, Russian forces were threatening Kupiansk while advancing toward Borova and Lyman, creating the danger of a major Ukrainian defensive setback.
Since then, Ukrainian forces have reportedly recovered positions near Borova and launched counterattacks around Lyman, reducing the Russian salient east of the city.
Ukrainian troops are now consolidating positions in the forests east of Lyman and preparing defensive lines along much of the western bank of the Zherebets River ahead of winter.
The situation around Kupiansk remains more complicated. Operations targeting underground infiltration routes north of the city have reportedly disrupted Russian movements, while eastern Kupiansk remains partially contested.
🔥 The reported Ukrainian advances around Lyman could significantly improve the city’s defensive position by pushing Russian forces farther from its eastern approaches.
Control of the Zherebets River’s western bank would provide Ukrainian troops with a clearer defensive line, while limited operations across the river could complicate Russian attempts to regroup.
The contrast with the situation a year earlier is notable. Instead of facing an uninterrupted Russian advance toward Lyman, Ukrainian forces are reportedly conducting counterattacks and consolidating recovered territory.
Nevertheless, the front remains contested, and the durability of these gains will depend on Ukraine’s ability to hold its positions against further Russian assaults.

🗃️ Les faits
Le 9 octobre, l’administration Trump a conclu un accord avec Moscou pour importer du diesel russe aux États-Unis, officiellement pour faire baisser les prix du carburant. Trois pétroliers ont quitté la Russie entre le 16 et le 22 octobre, chargés d’environ 924 000 barils, attendus sur la côte atlantique autour du 7 novembre.
Sauf que rien ne se passe comme prévu.
D’abord, les entreprises américaines rechignent. Elles craignent qu’acheter ce diesel ne les expose à des poursuites, si la levée de sanctions décidée par Trump était jugée illégale. Faute d’acquéreurs, une partie de la cargaison pourrait finir… au Brésil.
Ensuite, le 27 octobre, le sénateur Richard Blumenthal (@SenBlumenthal) a écrit directement à l’armateur grec d’un de ces navires, le Agioi Fanendes, battant pavillon maltais en lui intimant l'ordre de fair demi-tour.

Et Blumenthal n’est pas seul. Trois jours plus tôt, le 24 octobre, un autre groupe d’élus, dont les sénatrices Jeanne Shaheen (@SenatorShaheen) et Elizabeth Warren (@SenWarren) écrivait à la banque @GoldmanSachs et à plusieurs grands ports pour les mettre en garde : quiconque achète, transporte, finance ou décharge ce diesel russe s’expose à des poursuites pénales et civiles. Signe que la fronde dépasse les clivages : la démarche visant les ports était cosignée par un républicain, le sénateur Thom Tillis (@SenThomTillis).
Car c’est là tout le nœud que j'avais déjà évoqué dans un tweet lorsque Trump avait annoncé cet accord. En 2022, une loi fédérale l’"Ending Importation of Russian Oil Act" a interdit l’importation de tout produit énergétique russe, diesel compris. Le Trésor a bien émis une licence pour contourner cet obstacle. Mais une licence est un acte de l’exécutif et une loi, elle, est votée par le Congrès. Un décret ne peut pas abroger une loi.
Enfin, le comble : le diesel américain se vend aujourd’hui autour de 6,3 dollars le gallon, un peu plus cher qu’avant l’accord. La baisse de prix promise n’a jamais eu lieu.
💡 Ce que cela dit
Pour obtenir ce diesel, Trump a rapproché les États-Unis de Moscou, bradé une partie de l’arsenal des sanctions, et pris le risque de violer une loi fédérale. En échange de quoi ? D’un carburant que personne ne veut acheter, qui n’a pas fait baisser les prix, et qui pourrait repartir vers le Brésil. Un marché de dupes où l’Amérique donne tout et ne reçoit rien.
Mais il y a tout même matière à se réjouir. Si le réel résiste, parce que des entreprises ont peur, parce qu’un sénateur écrit, parce qu’une loi tient bon, c’est parce que les contre-pouvoirs font encore leur travail.

În panică din cauza prețurilor la combustibil care au explodat chiar înainte de alegerile de la mijloc de mandat, Casa Albă a încheiat pe 9 octombrie un acord cu Kremlinul prin care sunt ocolite interdicțiile de import. Trump se aștepta ca traderii de pe Wall Street să se repeadă la motorina rusească ieftină. În schimb, aceștia au tratat marfa ca pe deșeuri nucleare.
De ce? Pentru că aspectul legal al afacerii le poate fi fatal. Congresul a incriminat în mod explicit importurile de petrol rusesc în 2022.
O scutire pe hârtie din partea Trezoreriei SUA nu are nicio greutate împotriva unei interdicții a Congresului, ceea ce înseamnă că orice comerciant care se atinge de motorina sau benzina rusească riscă închisoare federală și citații din partea Congresului.
Haosul de pe ocean este de un absurd kafkian.
Petrolierul Agioi Fanendes a plecat din Sankt Petersburg cu destinația New York, dar s-a oprit în mijlocul oceanului și așteaptă „noi instrucțiuni”, traducere maritimă pentru „plutim fără țintă pentru că nimeni nu vrea să ne cumpere marfa”.
Restul flotei din umbră a lui Putin nu se simte nici ea mai bine. Talisman este inclus pe lista neagră de Washington și Europa, în timp ce Leruo este interzis în întreaga UE, Marea Britanie și Canada. Cu toate acestea, oamenii lui Trump de la Casa Albă au înroșit telefoanele în încercarea de a ancora navele rusești în porturile americane.
Însă reacția Wall Street-ului a fost rece ca gheața. Chiar și cu Moscova oferind reduceri substanțiale, traderii de petrol de pe piața gri s-au ascuns pe sub birouri. Foști oficiali ai Trezoreriei SUA au avertizat deja că orice contact cu aceste nave este sinucidere corporativă, așa că 140.000 de tone de motorină plutesc în Atlantic fără un singur cumpărător la orizont.
În plus, Congresul a apucat barosul.
Democrații și câțiva republicani au avertizat cumpărătorii cu privire la riscul comiterii unei infracțiuni federale, în timp ce senatorul Blumenthal a trimis scrisori de avertisment direct către proprietarii navelor, cerându-le să facă imediat drumul înapoi.
Guvernatoarea statului New Jersey, Mikie Sherrill, fost ofițer de marină și procuror federal, a numit afacerea lui Trump „coruptă și ilegală”. Ea a pregătit deja o serie de măsuri pentru a bloca terminalele principale de combustibil de pe coasta de est de la Bayonne, Linden, Carteret, Perth Amboy și Port Reading.
Cu porturile americane închise și amenințările Congresului planând deasupra capetelor, Washingtonul și Moscova se agită frenetic în căutarea unei soluții de ieșire din încurcătură. Specialiștii din energie spun că, fără un singur cumpărător american dispus să riște, motorina rusă respinsă va trebui descărcată în America de Sud la prețuri derizorii, în pierdere.
Planul disperat al Casei Albe pentru a ocoli legea federală, a scădea prețurile la motorină înainte de alegerile din 3 noiembrie și a direcționa bani către Moscova se pare că a eșuat. La fel ca navele din flota fantomă a lui Putin, care rătăcesc pe mări și oceane, fără niciun port unde să acosteze.

Nous devons, dans ce contexte, aspirer à bien plus qu'un cessez-le-feu localisé comme celui qui vient d'être négocié localement à Olechky. Il est intolérable que la Russie continue d'opposer son refus à toutes les propositions en ce sens, en continuant de miser sur l'escalade et en visant les civils.

Since the American President announced the energy ceasefire a week ago, Russia has deliberately attacked Ukraine’s energy and oil and gas sectors 76 times. Last night alone, there were strikes on substations in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa regions. Tens of thousands of families remain without power. Energy workers and repair crews are working virtually around the clock to restore electricity supply. Overnight, the Russians also struck residential buildings in our regions. As of now, 12 people have been reported injured, including two children. Two people have been killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. This morning, there was a strike on an agricultural enterprise in Volyn. All necessary services are working at the site.
In total, over this past week, the Russians have attacked Ukraine with almost 2,700 attack drones, 1,700 aerial bombs, and 66 missiles, most of them ballistic. The main targets of these strikes are energy facilities – the Russians are trying to cause a blackout. And America should see that Russia is not taking any reciprocal steps in response to sanctions relief or agreements. On the contrary, they take every signal of an opportunity to make money as proof that their bet on war is paying off and they can keep fighting. It is because of this position of Russia’s that the war continues, not because Ukraine is rightfully defending itself. It is Russia that must face pressure for peace to have a chance. 这是六架苏-34战斗轰炸机的造价。
很多人以为这种主力战机被毁，是在天上被防空导弹打了下来。
这次完全不是。
六架飞机全在地面停着，发动机都没启动，连同中间的一台保障车，瞬间烧成了废铁。
现场的情况很荒唐：
旁边明明修好了空置的机库，飞机却全挤在停机坪的正中央。
战机停在地上，为什么非要挤在一起？
这得看战机的地面整备。
苏-34在挂弹和出动之前，地勤必须校准机载雷达、调试火控和航电设备。
这些复杂的电子设备耗电量极大。
飞机发动机没点火，自身的发电机就转不起来；如果单靠机上的蓄电池，撑不了几分钟就会亏电。
战机在地面必须外接电源。
俄军地勤靠的是卡车底盘改装的地面电源车。
正常情况下，每架飞机要么有专用的地面电源，要么从机库拉长电缆接出来。
但前线机场的后勤出了岔子：
电源车不够，能开动的只有一台；
更致命的是，地勤手里没有足够长的航空级电源延长线。
电缆只有短短一截，又要同时给六架飞机通电，怎么办？
地勤想了个省事的办法：
把六架巨大的战机全拉出机库，翼尖贴着翼尖，密密麻麻围成一个圆圈。
唯一的电源车停在圆心。
车上的供电电缆往四周拉开，正好每一架飞机都能插上。
电是通上了，检修也方便了。
但在侦察视野里，这无异于自己把肥肉堆在案板上。
苏-34翼展近十五米，六架庞然大物缩在几十米见方的圈子里。
来袭导弹根本不需要精准瞄准哪一架。
只要冲着圆心砸下去就行。
弹头在中心爆炸，破片、冲击波加上满地的燃油和挂载弹药殉爆，整个圆圈里的战机全部报销。
事发之后，俄罗斯支持战事的几个军事博主在频道里彻底破防，对着卫星图上那一摊焦黑的灰烬逐个圈点。
现代战争打到今天，大家都在研究隐身突防、滑翔炸弹和电子干扰。
但真正让昂贵装备瞬间归零的，往往是最不起眼的后勤细节。
重型机库建在旁边，战机造价数千万美元。
最后因为少配了几十米电缆，两亿美元的战力在自家停机坪上被一锅端掉。
前线只要图一次省事，整个机队就要替它买单。
