Someone told me "you aren't allowed to be sad on Deepawali".
World changes after the cleaning.
I see why they said so.

What others call luck, I call hard work.
I worked my ass off to get where I am.
But I also know I'm privileged.
I grew up in a stable family, had access to good education, and never had to worry about where my next meal would come from.
So I'll never say, "If I did it, anyone can."
Hard work matters. A lot.
But we don't all start from the same line. And pretending we do is ridiculous.
Can't agree more after spending 5 years outside of hometown where never had any close friends, few known faces left. There's no one literally no one I know. And now I have a WFH Job.
Even the roads are not familiar all old homes have been reconstructed into shopping cmplx.

Smaller towns which you left feel like zombie places now, you do not know anybody, people who did good left for bigger towns or abroad; these places make you feel old and irrelevant; and god forbid if you did not have good memories in your childhood then unnecessary BT
Oftentimes I've heard people in X Spaces say, "I was in a maintenance project, hence my learning stalled."
Dig deeper and it's a different reality. Often, "maintenance project" is just a misnomer for "brownfield project".

You learn how products age. This wisdom is earned, not borrowed.
Fixing is often exhausting, unexciting or downright boring.
Taking ownership, even when it's boring, makes you reliable.

Quoting his message as is (removed discord username for privacy reasons).
