ARTXCODE (@artxcode_io), in partnership with Rhizome (@rhizome), is pleased to announce the artists of WEBSITES WEBSITES WEBSITES! (WWW!), a group exhibition curated by Sofia Garcia (@sofiagarcia_io) of ARTXCODE and Vienna Kim (@bennavkim) and Benoît Palop (@benoit_tokyo_) of LAN Party, celebrating the website as an artistic medium and marking the 30th anniversary of Rhizome, the pioneering institution for born-digital art and culture.
The exhibition features works by 0xfff, Chia Amisola, Kim Asendorf, Mika Ben Amar, Petra Cortright, Vuk Ćosić, Damjanski, Simon Denny, EXONEMO, Sarah Friend, Auriea Harvey, SHAWNÉ MICHAELAIN HOLLOWAY, Jan Robert Leegte, LIA, Maya Man, Lorna Mills, Nolen Royalty, Rafaël Rozendaal, Luke Shannon, and Molly Soda.
Together they span three decades of practice on the web, from the playful interventions of 1990s net.art pioneers to the poetic web experiments of artists navigating today’s algorithmically saturated internet.
Presented as live websites installed physically across the gallery and online, WWW! bridges generations of artists to show how the website remains a radical artistic space: one that belongs to no platform and answers to no algorithm.
On view September 21–27, 2026, with an opening reception on Monday, September 21, 6–9PM, at 39 Great Jones St, New York.
Works will be available for direct acquisition throughout the run of the exhibition, in-person or online, via Fellowship (@fellowshiptrust), with a portion of proceeds benefiting Rhizome’s work as a memory institution for digital art.
The venue for this exhibition was graciously provided by New International Picture Company.

"Protocol art is a different lineage that emerged to name something the generative tradition could not quite describe. This involves works that compute onchain at runtime, where Solidity is a compositional medium, where the chain functions as the very substance of the work and any recording role is downstream of that."

Congratulations to @hashrunner_ on one of the most innovative on chain art installations (is that the right word?) that I’ve seen.
I don’t fully understand the cryptographic elements of it but it was a pleasure to be part of it.
Special thanks to @YigitDuman for allowing us to mint an NFT wrapper to commemorate our involvement.

one recursive ZK proof, now and forever 186 collectors deep. 14,752 bytes as it always was.
while the proof never grew, its history did. a heartfelt thank you to everyone who reached out, became part of the proof, tweeted... moments like these are a huge part of why i do this <3

It's getting more and more chaotic!
Last 2.5 hours to join the proof and mint more. I want to see how far we can go.

the really great thing about ZK artworks is you don't have to understand them

We are so back!!! 😭

I minted the recent project by @hashrunner_ using the wrapper created by @YigitDuman
It is a fascinating example of zero-knowladge protocol art: a work where the proof is not metadata, not infrastructure, not a backend mechanism, but the artistic material itself.
0(1) remains zero-knowledge protocol art.
The wrapper turns its participation record into tokenized interface without changing the deeper fact :
the original work is still the proof, not the token.
Replying to @hashrunner_
ripping packs and joining proofs, this is the future they envisioned for us in the 60s
