Within the next 48 hours, if flour is not allowed into Gaza, all bakeries in the city will stop producing bread.
We are facing an enormous catastrophe. Famine is knocking on our doors once again, and this time, it could be worse than anything we have experienced before.
Please, do not remain silent! Talk about Gaza, make our voices heard around the world, and do everything you can before thousands of people lose access to something as basic as a loaf of bread.

Today, Brad Lander, rabbis, and other New Yorkers accompanied Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest. For that, they were detained by the Israeli government.
Harvesting olives is not illegal. The occupation is.
I am thankful that Brad has been released. But other New Yorkers remain detained, and they must be released immediately.
The same Israeli government detaining them has committed a horrific genocide against Palestinians, killing more than 74,000 people over the last few years alone.
The detention of these New Yorkers must end. The occupation must end. The genocide must end.

Today, October 13th, The Sameer Project team was distributing water in Al Sanfoor area in Tuffah, Gaza City, when suddenly the military occupation fired shots around the water truck. As you can see in the video, little children and our team were running away to hide from the shootings.
In what world is this acceptable? Every week or so, we have an incident of bombing or shooting near The Sameer Project team. Multiple team members have shrapnels in their bodies and their only crime is providing food and water to the community.
The Sameer Project will not be deterred and we will continue to provide aid in the areas near the yellow line. May God protect our wonderful team and all the Palestinian in Gaza.

You can hear the cries of a little girl. The daily horrors from Gaza never stopped.
A horrific scene. Israel has just carried out a terror strike on an apartment in Gaza City, killing at least one woman.
Neighbors rushed to the scene as flames engulfed the apartment. They heard a little girl screaming. She was rescued.
Listening to her cries shattered me into pieces.
Do you know when israel launched this terror strike? At 4 in the morning today in Gaza local time.

I walk down the road not knowing my destination, the shelling intensifies violently everywhere, as if I am swinging between despair and despair. I don't care about my life, or perhaps I find myself more logical—no one knows where the next missile will fall. Several questions creep into my thoughts, headed by this cynical, wretched question: How long?
I ask it only to myself, and when I am among my friends, I am ashamed to voice it. Perhaps one of them would slap me and tell me to shut up, perhaps another would shoot me a sharp look and silence me, and another would laugh out loud.
Truly, how long? How long will they continue to kill us? Has our blood become the only one sufficient to satisfy their desires, and has our blood grown cheap to this world? And have we ourselves grown accustomed to the color of roads paved with blood?
I don't know, truly I don't know my state. Birds build their nests twice a year, and I am in this circle alone, kneeling like a curse upon my bare chest.

2) Remove the tax exempt status of religious institutions and other locations hosting stolen land sales
3) Drop Jessica Tisch as NYPD Police Commissioner and disband the Strategic Response Group

That he threw a stick, (anything he could find, irregardless of what it is) at this highly advanced robotic murder weapon when he was already wounded and dying; it reminded me of how the Prophet SAW taught us that even if you know the Day of Judgement is upon you, and you are planting a seed for a tree— you still plant it.
That throw is faith and conviction in your cause right there. That is the unwavering nature of the Palestinian will right there.
That's how our martyrs become immortal and live on even when they are gone. You cannot kill them because they remain forever; through their defiance and resistance. Because of their example.
Because of the way they pave for others and the belief they instill through their actions.

Today, on October 5th, The Sameer Project team were surrounded with bullets while distributing water in Eastern Salah El Deen. As you can see, men were crawling to avoid the shots coming from the military occupation.

Palestinians are targeted every single day by the military occupation. The genocide never ended, and not a day passes by without martyrs and injuries.
The areas we cover as The Sameer Project are near the yellow line like Eastern Salah El Deen. The reason we go there is because people residing in those places barely get any aid, if any. They have nowhere else to go and they need support.
We also just got reports from Al Shujaiyyah intersection and Montazah Camp of hundreds of families, including women and children, are being shot at by the military occupation. Escalations are happening across the Gaza Strip in the last couple of days.
