#ShinMinah and #JuJihoon Interview for #TheRemarriedEmpress 👑What was your most memorable experience during filming? Shin Minah: There were many moments when I genuinely felt frustrated, both while reading the script and during filming. Whenever I saw scenes featuring Sovieshu and Rashta together, I felt as though I had actually become Navier. I was genuinely upset from the bottom of my heart! (laughs). On the other hand, when filming scenes with Heinrey, I felt at ease just by looking into his eyes. The characters and situations described in the original story and script came to life so vividly through the performances of my fellow actors. That helped me tremendously with my own acting. There were also moments when I felt unsure and wondered, "How should I portray Navier in this particular situation?" But by watching the other actors perform, I was able to naturally understand her emotions. I could think to myself, "Ah, so this is what Navier is feeling right now." Ju Jihoon: The filming process was incredibly exhausting. For example, in a scene where the emperor makes a public appearance, there were around 10 to 20 large horses lined up behind him. I can't remember the exact number, but obviously, real horses can't move in perfectly straight lines, right? However, to convey the emperor's dignity and authority on screen, everything had to look perfectly arranged. From the ceremonial formation and the distance between each horse to the alignment of the procession, every detail had to be precise. We knew that recreating such details wouldn't be easy, but the reality was far more exhausting than we had imagined. Even getting the horses into formation required an enormous amount of time and effort. There are many large scale scenes like this throughout the drama. Every element requires almost military-level precision, so the scale of the production brought various practical and physical challenges. And honestly, because I really like Minah, who plays Navier, it was difficult for me to act mean toward her! (laughs). 👑How was it working with your fellow cast members? Ju Jihoon: As I mentioned earlier, I really couldn't bring myself to get angry at Minah. As everyone knows, she's such a lovely person. #LeeSeyoung is also very cheerful and full of energy. Her naturally warm and friendly personality made it much easier for me when filming romantic scenes that involved physical contact. Because she was the first to open up, we were able to perform those scenes more comfortably together. I also really like #LeeJongsuk. I think we're fairly close, although saying that might make our relationship sound a little closer than it actually is (laughs). He doesn't drink alcohol, whereas I do, so we haven't had many opportunities to spend time together. Still, whenever we meet, I enjoy catching up with him and hearing how he's doing. We also support each other. 👑 Finally, do you have a message for everyone looking forward to the drama? Ju Jihoon: In the original webtoon, Sovieshu has already earned himself the nickname "Sovieshit." Even though he has a nickname like that, I honestly don't fully understand why readers love him so much (laughs). However, what I wanted to achieve in this drama was to portray Sovieshu convincingly as the central figure driving the conflict in the story. As an actor, I paid particular attention to this role. Shin Minah: I hope you'll also pay attention to the costumes. Navier wears a wide variety of outfits with incredibly intricate designs and details throughout the drama. We adjusted the colors and designs to suit different situations, carefully creating costumes that reflect the many sides of her character.
