Be like @MacMcCannTX and come be a guest speaker for my @UTexasMoody classes. A super casual adv/pr talk with some of the smartest students you’ve ever met. #HookEm

Flying today with no carry-on or bag of any kind. Liberating and super unsettling.

Clicked into a link on FB talking about UT Advertising being ranked #1 (as an alum, Hook'em) in their MA and found one of my former classmates @hellotimscott: advertising.utexas.edu/news/…

I love working with a brand that refuses to discount prices. Discounts make for lazy work.

Prepping for Monday on Sunday night is a superpower. For sure enjoy the weekend, but even one hour to think on how best to start my week has had huge returns.

A lot of people confuse getting older with being right.

I call bullshit on this “Fall” in Austin. That was a stupid hot run.

Not everything is a master class. Sometimes, it’s just solid good work.

Coffee, a little exercise and make the bed. It’s great how the little stuff sets the tone for the rest of the day.

I was in basic training within days. It’s hard to explain all the feelings and layers from that day.
This year, on 9/11, the #TEXASMoody community reflects on the attacks from 22 years ago. We spoke to several of our #TEXASMoody faculty and staff spread out across the country that day and asked them to share their thoughts and memories. bit.ly/911moody23 @iheartfatapollo

Is there a LOT of grift in the Austin start up scene? Had seen it mentioned, but I’ve only personally come across it a few times. On the way up?

Truth! Don’t let gatekeepers keep you from doing great work.
I've done some of my best work while unemployed. I found clients (small businesses and non-profits), and did work for them. Work that worked. If you're looking for work, or enduring a bad workplace, maybe find your own client. You do not need an agency to do great work.
