Went to my primary school mate's photo studio for a quick shot.
Got there, and...
"Oh, is this your face, long time..."
"A quick one; I want to get one shot."
Not a passport o.
Just a normal portrait.
This guy didn't know where to bill me from.
He finally told me to pay 7k, hoping that I would price it.
A well-packaged studio.
And for once, I saw why many business owners struggle for so long.
How would you, as a photographer, not know what triggers your clients emotionally?
How would you not know that I would like to have more than one picture of myself even if I am wearing one outfit?
How would you not understand that people rate their posture over any kind of clothes they are wearing?
How would you not know that people like to see different kinds of smiles on themselves?
I know by now you are wondering what he would have done.
I'll tell you.
Give me offers or packages.
One picture 7k.
4 pictures N9,500.
10 pictures 20k.
People would ordinarily see the N9,500 package as the best bet.
But unknown to them, you have decided for them long ago, even before they chose you.
Sorry for the digression, bro...
I told that story to show that there's no one formula to it.
But let me hit you even harder...
There's nothing like I wish I knew how to negotiate better.
You are in business to make money.
And if you are not making good enough money, you can't live a good life.
It does not cost much to produce one unit of iPhone 18, but selling for a crazy price.
You sounded like someone who accepts every offer that comes his way.
If you are truly good at what you do, go and research responses to counter any downplaying.
Pursue big or notable projects, and do them even if it would mean not making much profit.
You can use them as a reference, and your prospect will view you from that angle.
If you have the time...
You may go through my page to learn one or two things... PRACTICALLY.

Honestly I wish I know how to negotiate better as a painter
I'm good at what I do,but most client I get often leans towards "I know a cheaper guy" and no be say my prices are exorbitant I just charge base on the workload
sucks fr

From now till the next election is when you should cut down more people from your life.
Election period has always been the time for people to display how intelligent or stupid they are.
You are my friend and I don’t want to have you as a patient. Please pity your lungs 🫁 and quit today Biko nna

This is nothing more than a collection of disconnected initiatives that prioritise shareholders and capital at the expense of workers, tenants, minorities, and the environment.
Instead of building a fair, sustainable economy that benefits everyone, these policies risk deepening inequality, weakening workers’ rights, and making life even more difficult for ordinary people.
They also undermine the UK’s credibility as a stable and attractive investment destination. A strong economy should not be built by enriching investors while shifting the costs onto society.
The UK needs a coherent long-term strategy that attracts investment, protects people’s livelihoods, respects the environment, and creates prosperity that benefits the wider population not just those who already have wealth and influence.
Britain is broke. And to fix it, we need to start growing again.
That’s why Reform’s Economic Rescue Plan includes these 64 pro-growth measures I’d take if I were Chancellor:

I have rejected many deals in my life and I’m happy I rejected them.
I’m highly disappointed 😢.
