🐘 💔 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗪𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬? How can we look into the eyes of a suffering elephant, witness her anguish, and STILL walk away? How can we watch elephant children struggling against their shackles, magnificent beings broken into submission, and somehow convince ourselves that this is acceptable? 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗛𝗔𝗦 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗖𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘? In parts of India, elephants continue to pay a heartbreaking price for human greed, indifference and exploitation justified in the name of tradition.
