Just so everyone knows,
Advising a neurodivergent person to just take any old job so they have money to follow their passions is like telling a person who is allergic to nuts to eat a Reese’s Cup. Taking any job available that requires masking rather than taking one that is aligned, can cause neurodivergent burnout which is the leading cause of neurodivergent death.
It’s that serious and it’s not studied or talked about nearly enough.
