Fun Fact:
The Raptors started 2-0 in 2019, and then Kawhi missed the third game.
The Raptors started 2-0 in 2027, and then Kawhi missed the third game.
This game is painful to watch, but apparently I needed a reminder to humble myself. We can’t rebound, can’t make a shot, and have absolutely no three-point shooting. Scottie is 0-for-7, Quickley has been especially awful, and the entire team looks completely lost. Just a pathetic showing.
For a while, at Loblaw Digital, we talked a lot about the fact that more than 50% of our code was being written by AI. It was a useful measure of adoption, but over time we realized it said very little about whether we were actually building more software.
The bigger opportunity is to reduce the work between an idea and production: understanding the problem, assembling the right context, designing the solution, writing the code, testing it and reviewing it.
That led us to build Nexus, our agentic development infrastructure, which works across that entire lifecycle rather than just the coding step.
Where we’ve deployed Nexus, we’ve seen 10–25x improvements in productivity. In one early example, work we estimated would take a six-engineer pod roughly 2 months was completed by one engineer in under a week.
We’re still early, but it has changed how we think about AI in engineering. The measure that matters is no longer how much code AI writes, it’s how much more we can build.

I worry we’re confusing AI distribution with AI scale. Giving 50,000 people Copilot may create 50,000 local optimizations, but the org chart, systems, handoffs and underlying workflows remain largely untouched. We’ve made everyone a little faster at traversing the bureaucracy instead of asking how much of that bureaucracy still needs to exist.
The much bigger opportunity is to rebuild entire verticals (merchandising, supply chain, finance) as operating systems designed around outcomes rather than tasks. When agents share context, understand the state of the business and can act across the full workflow, you stop automating steps and start eliminating them.
The promise of AI shouldn’t be making every step cheaper. It should be discovering that you don’t need most of the steps at all.
We’re building Copilot as a new OS for work that spans every model, every form factor, and every task. Today, we’re announcing our biggest update to Copilot to date, bringing four things together:
· Autopilot: proactive and long-running agent built for the enterprise
· Code: build apps with Copilot, hosted inside your company’s tenant
· Home: Chat + Cowork together
· Office: now fully embedded in Copilot (and Copilot embedded in Office, of course!)
Plus, you can invoke Copilot in Teams, and we’re introducing Today, a proactive experience that surfaces the most important information from across M365 without needing to ask for it.
The way we work is changing and so are our workflows. This update brings AI into that flow, from answering a question, to building an app, to getting work done on your behalf.

As you become an adult, you realize that things around you weren't just always there; people made them happen. But only recently have I started to internalize how much tenacity *everything* requires. That hotel, that park, that railway. The world is a museum of passion projects.

Toronto's Kyle Lowry grew up in North Philly. True story: If you Google that address today, there's someone on the porch wearing a Raptors jersey.
It's Kyle's.
