Religion feeds the egos of those doing well in life and gives false hope to those who arenโt.

Not me. I grew up believing in god, and my family went to church.
I knew about Christianity long before I became an atheist. I just donโt believe it anymore.
Being taught a religion doesnโt mean youโre obliged to believe it for the rest of your life. People can actually think for themselves, you know.

It's super funny when the god who would kill kids for burning the wrong incense in the temple supposedly looks at slavery and goes "welp, I don't like it, but they're gonna do it whether I allow it or not, so better just allow it..."

Iโve never understood the โit was a different timeโ defence when discussing morality in the bible.
Weโre told god is eternal, all-knowing and the ultimate source of objective morality. Yet whenever something morally questionable comes up, suddenly weโre told it was acceptable back then.
Acceptable to whom? Society or god?
Human standards change. But if godโs morality is supposed to be timeless, why does defending it depend on what people accepted thousands of years ago?
Was it morally right then, or are you admitting that human morality has progressed beyond what your scriptures permitted?

I always thought this should be done in South Africa, considering a person can be criminally charged for failing to pay mantainance. The person should be prosecuted rightfully

Being a stepfather benefits everyone but the stepfather. Helping a struggling mother and her child doesnโt make it any less of a stupid deal for you. Their benefit is not exactly your benefit.. but at least you get to be called a REAL MAN
This is the day to day of an ordinary zimbo if donโt speak out or act on this and pretend all is well ndisu tichachema mune ramangwana
Hello Crime Watch. Please help me share this. It is very painful for me to write this, but I believe our healthcare system needs urgent attention from those in authority.
My niece went into premature labour on Saturday, and we rushed her to Harare Hospital. However, the process of getting help was very long, even though she was in serious pain.
The nurses eventually admitted her after she had been lying on the floor in pain. She spent the entire night in labour.
At around 5 am, we called her and heard her groaning in pain. She told us that she could feel the baby coming. However, there were no nurses around to assist her. She spent almost an hour crying out for help without receiving the attention she desperately needed.
At around 7 am, we received a call from a nurse telling us that our relative was thirsty and needed water. The nurse asked us to send money through EcoCash so that they could buy her water. It was around this time that the nurses started attending to her, and she eventually gave birth.
Sadly, the baby only survived for a few minutes before passing away.
As a family, we are deeply hurt and struggling to understand why a patient who had been admitted with premature labour was left without proper attention or supervision for so long. We cannot say for certain whether the delay caused the babyโs death, but the experience has left us with serious concerns about the care she received.
Our healthcare sector needs urgent intervention. Patients who arrive at public hospitals in pain and distress deserve timely medical attention, proper monitoring and compassionate care. No patient should have to cry out for help for nearly an hour without assistance.
Does this mean that people who cannot afford private hospitals must continue to suffer like this? What happens to ordinary citizens who depend entirely on public hospitals for medical care?

I donโt know why religious people pretend to hate Halloween so much. Itโs fun to dress up and pretend to be someone else. Hell, they do it every Sunday.

Complaining is what kept us away from having to live like this, you third world retard
Anger is the only emotion that if well channelled can make your life better...
Anger is your system refusing mediocrity. Either from you or others...
