@JohnSwinney if you can U-turn on North Sea oil and gas, why not nuclear? Domestic energy security, skilled jobs and economic reality matter, you're right. Dounreay could deliver all three. The SNP must stop mindlessly opposing every UK Government plan. It's nonsensical.

Scheming Sturgeon – a disgraced & dodgy lesbian traitor, whose party was a criminal operation the entire time she was in power running Scotland into the ground – is given a paid platform to hector and lecture other politicians by the British Bashing Corporation. Defund it today!

I welcomed the Budget’s cost-of-living measures, but raised a crucial question about whether funding for Scottish housing and heating bills is reaching the people who need it most. I’ve called on the Treasury Select Committee to examine this.

I’ve written to the Chancellor ahead of tomorrow's Budget, calling for the Government to recognise priorities for people living in the Far North. Their decisions must reflect their commitment to our communities everywhere, even those in the farthest corners of the UK.

The SNP is betraying Scottish factories with Chinese made schoolbags to be given to every P1 pupil. The fact they’re using Chinese firms who pay workers £1 per hour is an extra kick in the teeth for Scottish companies. If the Government is not going to use our own workers who is?

@WeAreOpenreach have job sheets and times of who and when worked on those poles yet they have sent no one to inspect the damage, or the potential for worsening the damage, which has now occurred as they were warned was possible given the weather.
Under no circumstances should you allow @WeAreOpenreach or their contractors on your property to access poles on other properties…..they and their contractors came onto my property on several occasions to access poles which were not on my property but on neighbouring gardens, and despite having been informed that the wires from one pole were pulling my soffits away from my house, they have failed to act to remedy the situation.

The shambles of modern Britain. @WeAreOpenreach @bt_uk plus independent contractors all got access to my property to work on polls in neighbours gardens weeks ago. After the works the wire attached to my soffits has obviously been over tightened and now has finally pulled them off. I’ve been passed from pillar to post for weeks.

@WeAreOpenreach you passed this to your legal department weeks ago after being informed that work you had done on poles in my neighbours gardens, which were not on my property, but which you and your contractors had accessed from my property, had caused damage to my soffits. Here’s the result of today’s high winds after your failure to send anyone to examine the damage. Could you contact me asap before these high winds take my soffits off the house completely.

We must not forget that Dounreay helped keep the lights on in the glens. We have the site, the skills and the community to host a small modular reactor. The Scottish Government must move beyond outdated policies and unlock Highland energy opportunities. johnogroat-journal.co.uk/new…

Not necessarily English it’s the British Government not English let’s call them voters ?
Yet the SNP's manifesto commitment to a second independence referendum - winning the Scottish election with a majority pro Indy parliament with the Greens - is simply blocked by the English-as- British govt. And they say Scotland isn't a colony. Scots demand action @JohnSwinney

Jess does the Scottish Government not no perhaps you should ask them ?
Hey Jackie, can we get some detail about the radiation leaks in your constituency? We have the data. But you’ve never commented. Can I ask why?

If that’s what he meant that’s what he should have said. Honest John ?
Everyone knew that Swinney meant that people would lose part of their pensions, not all of it. Ridiculous attacks on a truth. Sick of the gaslighting #BBCLauraK

Accountability transparency ?
LATEST: Transport Secretary Stephen Flynn has insisted it is 'not true' that he was briefed on a gas leak aboard the Glen Sannox before appearing before a Holyrood committee 🚨 Flynn said the FOI release confirms he was not briefed, adding: “If I’d known, I’d have given a damn sight better answer than I did at the time.”

Excuse me they get emails on their phone’s and it had been previously flag up !
This is corruption, pure and simple. BBC Scotland knows Stephen Flynn couldn't have seen the emails because they arrived when he was entering the Holyrood committee session. Andrew Kerr confirmed it this morning. The BBC is *knowingly* circulating a baseless smear. That's bad.

The Triple Lock was never a guarantee which ever ( Government) was in power.
In 2014, we were told staying in the UK meant 'better protection' for Scottish pensioners. Now Andy Burnham wants to axe their pensions triple lock to fund free personal care, which is already available in Scotland, south of the border. The price of Westminster control.

You got lucky
On the train to Aberdeen and: The train wifi is working. There's a trolley service. The toilets are clean. This is a baseline of what the future could be like!

Come on John the Scottish Parliament have power however there not accountable or transparent to those they represent ?
Remember when Gordon Brown promised “the most powerful devolved parliament in the world” if we voted no to independence. How’s that promise working out?
