Laika needs to go big with their Oscar campaign for WILDWOOD. Best Picture, Adapted Screenplay, Original Score and Song, Production Design, Sound, Visual Effects. There's no reason it shouldn't land noms across the board.

TANGLES is a devastating animated film, but told with so much energy and life. It may be about the tragedy of Alzheimer’s, but it’s not dour, just authentic and honest through and through. The gorgeous black and white illustrated style brings so much charm. Really moving.

One of the more personal animated films you’ll see. Adult animation with so much love and care it’s impossible to not connect with it.

I think if we can entertain the idea that YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING will be nominated for Best Picture, then #Wildwood deserves the same level of consideration.

I wholeheartedly believe the Deadline reporter (or their source) mixed up “Jack O’Connell” and “Josh O’Connor.” There’s just no way O’Connor is in the mix.
At least four test offers for the role to play James Bond have been given out and while unconfirmed, insiders tell Deadline that three of the four actors expected to test are Jack Lowden, Callum Turner and Josh O’Connor. More details on the search and final auditions for the new 007 in Deadline's The Dish here: deadline.com/2026/10/james-b…

Can getting closer reveal the truth or does it only make it harder to see? @howatdk breaks down how the extremely intimate close-ups in Nathan Fielder & Lance Oppenheim’s #YouCanSeeEverything create a feeling of unease and uncertainty. Our review: youtu.be/wAZmyy0BOfw?si=xbMJ…

WILDWOOD is a staggering achievement, an ambitious fantasy that shoots straight for the heart. Full of rich characters, never shying away from encroaching darkness, it’s a mature adventure that draws you in completely. The most impressive stop-motion action ever put on film.

Prue’s dedication to save her brother, Curtis’s unflappable courage, Alexandra’s grief. There’s warmth and wonder coursing through it all. You can almost feel the texture of every handcrafted element, which makes the massive battles all the more intense. Pure magic.
